Are you getting a general business admin degree? Or does it have a concentration? Like finance, accounting.

I have my degree in finance which is under the school of business administration.

I will tell you this. Make sure you do internships/coOps while you are in college now. They are VALUABLE, and it should be in something you would want to do after you graduate. Make those connections as an intern, do great, because it will help you once it's time to graduate and apply for jobs in the real world. Don't get so lost in the books that you forget to actually get some real world experience.
I am planning to get a concentration in finance but I want to start a business down the road so I don't know if I should even bother with that.

If you will have the money by the time you graduate to start that business, than cool. But if you're going to need some money to pay back loans and pay other bills, you're going to need that post graduation job which will provide you with a good salary and healthcare(very important), so I still would suggest getting an internship in a field that's close to what you want to do. It can only benefit you more ways than one.

Banks, wealth management firms, a lot of financial service companies offer good paid internships. Definitely check out places like suntrust, regions bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo.

Haven't been through the thread so I am not sure this has been mentioned. But i can not overstate the importance of emotional intelligence! Life is about how your react to things and if you think no one is watching while you overreact to day to day circumstances that you are faced with, you're kidding yourself. Its always better to be the person who can take a step back to evaluate a situation then to be the one who reacts based off emotions. And this goes for every aspect life! Peace to the youngins out there! Stay focused!

Stay away from negative people, build a solid portfolio don't be great at just one thing when you can be good at many (unless you got the gift), if it feels wrong it probably is don't do it trust your instincts, don't get a woman pregnant before you are ready for that type of responsibility both emotionally and financially, have fun, let go of the negative past, cherish the good moments, and remember there is no real structure to this just flow with it.

It is pretty basic info but, DO NOT cum inside of any woman that isn't your wife or that you don't plan on being serious with. Same for brehettes. Make him use a condom. Children are a blessing, but unwanted or unplanned children cause undue stress for both. Allow yourself the choice of when you want to start a family. Casual sex is ok. Casual babies are not.
this and also make sure you're prepared for a child. Just cuz it's with your husband or wife doesn't mean you guys are ready. Babies are a major financial responsibility. It's not like buying a house or car. You don't want to be struggling and bring a child into the world that will go thru the same thing.
