You can go anywhere you want -- just don't use the benefits/help that was supposed to go to a Black American/DOS.

No scholarships, no grants....

Don't see how accepting those would neglect a DOS.

As someone who states ATR's and spirituality studies/beliefs in general are of great interest/meaning to them for a number of reasons would be.

I don't know what they all say - but some are for Black Americans. I also know they ask for your race/ethnicity -- and we know why -- it's not just for keeping tabs on demographic data/stats.

I didn't get one - but if I needed it -- hopefully it would have been available.

I know at least one Egyptian-American dude (born and raised in the USA, parents from Egypt) getting into college on marking "African-American" on the application.

Lot of fellas were pissed until it turned out that he was actually down - hung out mostly with black guys and was a fantastic baller (wasn't that athletic but he was 6'4" and built with court vision and a shot). Still felt weird though.

Sorry, I'm not American.

I'm a black Brit and we don't need Affirmative Action to excel. Our level of degree attainment (higher education) is currently twice that of white Brits without it. I doubt you can say the same even with your Affirmative Action.

I received my education in California without Affirmative Action

We fought for our resources while uk brits seem to crave acceptance

We may both live in white countries but at least it's not a source of c00nish pride for AA

Id say yes.
Based from my experience, African Immigrants tend to move on up financially and more respected by other people. West indies blacks on the other hand, not so much. I see a lot of them either going through gentrification, harassed by cops, or non-black people being scared of them.

You know that African Americans that immigrate to Africa have more money, have a higher education level and are more likely to own more land in their new Country than native born Africans.

I mean... the average African American that immigrates to Africa are very educated and well off financially.

Nah, it wasn't him playing ball so much as him just hanging with the Black dudes in his down time, being into the culture. I just mentioned that he was a baller because its something everyone respected about him, but if he was balling with a bunch of Asians then it wouldn't have made a difference. A lot of people still didn't agree with what he did, but they genuinely liked him and felt like he was a part of the community so they didn't hold a grudge.

I think it would have worked out a ton different if he had mostly hung out with White people or something.
