#1) Georgetown ranks higher than NYU on the US News and World Rankings . . . so you probably shouldn't whip those out to support your argument.

#2) Cost of attending Georgetown is comparable to cost of attending NYU.

#3) All of NYU's top undergraduate "departments" in your link are under the umbrella of the Stern School of Business, which you didn't attend.

#4) Both are ultimately good schools. But they're on the same tier; private, non-ivy research universities that have solid lay-prestige.

You didn't look at the departments

#2) Cost of attending Georgetown is comparable to cost of attending NYU.

You look at the financial aid awarded bro

#3) All of NYU's top undergraduate "departments" in your link are under the umbrella of the Stern School of Business, which you didn't attend.

Scroll down.

Stern Business is amazing and the law school and the engineering school and the econ school and the med school and the english department and the psychology department and the film school... ALL ranked much higher than their GU counterparts

NYC is also 1000x the city that DC is in all aspects
They aren't comparable at all :mjlol:

It's a lot of salt throwing on DC. Leave it to OT nikkaz to define da city like they local or some shyt. DC got culture, yall just ain't live in it or grow up in it. :yeshrug:
Non locals are exactly who should be defining it, especially when the topic is having a non-local relocate there. I'm not sure what you're arguing.

That's why I didn't bother responding to the fool when he dropped those links

It's two different DCs breh. There's the transient one full of OT nikkaz in them sanitized part of town that don't know shyt about the area and there's the people that grew up around here on go go music and shows, mambo sauce on their fried chicken, joanin sessions, beat your feet battles, etc. I just find it funny that nikkaz say DC and the area got no culture and they never even grew up here. DC ain't get in rap for so long cuz it had its own culture of music for hood nikkaz, involving actual instruments no less....but street nikkaz playin musical instruments in a genre developed in DC isn't exactly a marker for culture, right? :hmmjb:

Be mad that your shytty college only has 3 good departments and each 1 is rated below NYU, who has a dozen other top notch departments

Get cha weight up scrap.....Orange Line checking in:myman:

Anybody else hate this silver line? shyt fukks with my commute going into work but gotdamn the weekends is like 30-45 min intervals and shyt. I know it's screwed with the blue line departures & arrivals. I got 3 more weeks left here. Really going to miss it. May try to come back and parlay a gig at USAID or something. @2Quik4UHoes ya boy got a show coming up before October?

Only shyt I'm ridin is green and yellow, fukk silver unless I'm taking the express bus from downtown. Silver line won't be worth a shyt until it's been extended all the way to Dulles airport.

It should be on my cousin twitter I'm sure he got some gigs goin he be takin this rap shyt to heart.

I get what your saying. But that's kind of my whole point. OT's run DC.

In a literal sense yeah cuz its damn near the capitol of the world. But you gotta understand, locals don't even acknowledge the transients unless they tryna cop some drugs or something. Aside from that its literally two different worlds, its not even like we standoffish like that but we just don't fukk with each other.

DC is a cool city..plenty of things to do, many different cultures, great nightlife BUT there are some serious cons. I think the traffic and cost of living is being understated. DC doesn't just have bad traffic. It has THE worst traffic in the nation (there are surveys proving this). I've only been through DC once and didn't get stuck in traffic. And that was at 3AM so that shouldn't count. Plus the city layout is confusing as hell. Also the cost of living is high as fukk. Yes you will make more money in DC but from what I see, it doesn't equal out to those high ass housing prices. I would like to live within an hour of DC, but I would not want to live in DC. Also, like others have pointed out, its gay people everywhere.
