Chance is a silver spoon rapper, an entitled kid whose father is connected to Rahm and Obama and he somehow ends up headlining a major festival in Chicago where the president's daughter is on hand to show support.
With the connections he has he clearly doesnt need the industry, the rap game is more or less a fad to him, he'll probably end up making white people music while his father waits for him to mature and join the family business.
Chance the Rapper is not an industry plant, he is comparable to Chet Hanks...Toms Hanks rapping ass son.

Keep in mind I've never heard any chance the rapper music, these hot takes! are based on that power 105 interview and the knowledge that he hangs out with tv actor Donald Glover...no skip bayless.

I'm not saying dude doesn't have fans but ain't nobody playin no muthafukkin Zro. Dude is an acquired taste whose name gets thrown around by bloggers to make themselves sound legit.

Like somebody sing a Zro song that came out in the past 8 years that everybody knows that's official that actually touched alot of people.

He has a core fanbase but he gets unjustly props by bloggers and industry cats alike. All hype and no burn

Man you're crazy if you believe the bullshyt you typed :mjlol:

Little Brother were never industry plants.

Their first to last albums were released on independently owned ABB Records.

As well, they were NEVER mainstream...they always were an underground group.

Now people are just naming artists they don't like or have little to no awareness of their careers.

You mean Atlantic Records a subsidaryof Warner Music group. Please I've followed those pseudo conscious NCCU students since their launch on Okayplayer and their following of white hipsters

The listening and The Minstrel Show was released on ABB.
The Minstrel Show was Distributed through Atlantic.

How are they industry plants again? I don't get it....they came up as organically as any other indie hip hop group and we're often overlooked cause they weren't on that dirty south tip that was popping back then in the mid 00s.
