Been saying this. If we elect Biden, all those young voters and voters of color are going to sit out again. He doesnt excite people.

But a lot of voters are still apathetic, even with Trump in office. Plus it doesnt help that the economy isn't in a recession.

The thing is, the midwest states are the states that sprung up a lot of the labor rights workers have today. No one has more credibility on labor issues than Bernie. Biden has the image of being thar guy, but he has a record of undermining labor through several initiatives he's voted for.
I'm just thinking about all those woke, cancel culture, millennial/Gen Z, a bunch of whom are on my Facebook feed, I just can't see many of them holding their nose to vote for Biden, even against Trump. They're just gonna go

I think what we can learn from Bernie's ascendency and Trump's election and continued support for who is that if your upfront about where you stand and own it, it doesn't hurt you. At the end of the day, blue states are gonna vote blue, red states gonna vote red, but those battleground states want a populist and even conservatives have taken an anti- big business turn. I don't see the socialist allegations hurting Bernie cuz both the left and the right want a populist. Bernie already has the young diverse coalition, and he speaks to the needs of the white male labor class of the midwest and can out-message trump on the populist front.
