What is Liz going to do for Blacks with regard to Housing that she isn't going to do for other Americans? Or what's Biden going to do? or Steyer, or Pete, or Bernie?

She surely didn't mention it in the NAACP forum.

"build affordable homes for working-class Americans" is what she said.

Sounds like Bernie's plan, including the redlining bit.

Housing for All
Do you seriously think Sanders understands that policy, outside of superficial recitation of it as a problem, compared to Warren.

This is where expertise matters. Warren LITERALLY reads footnotes.

I can't tell if Sanders has read a book in the last 20 years.

Not to mention, most of the "books" he's "written" came out in the last 5 years since he decided to run for President.

The pandering that black folk are accustomed to from democrats is comforting. We went from being hopeful for Joe Biden (or democrats in general really) to be beholden to "the black vote" as if black folk aren't going to give them 90% of their vote anyway, to being more impressed with identical policies because the candidate with the least history/record actually doing anything with or for any civil rights movements decided to throw in an identity appeal.
Hillary lost because she didn't engage rust belt voters. Clearly having policy plans that will help isn't enough. :francis:

I'm not understanding why she didn't get a bump from outperforming in Iowa at all. Her canvasers in NH should be all over that. I think at this point what's hurting her is that she doesn't have the media apperatus that Bernie has on Twitter and YouTube. The corporate media was kinda helping her in the fall but they've switched back to the centrist candidates. Bernie can take hits from those type because he has his own media and that branches to left wing media that has risen since 2016.
basically all of left wing social media has backed bernie and are actively ratfukking her campaign.

look at how disingenuous people like Krystal Ball have beecome. She damn near was about to work for the Biden campaign!

To be clear, my position is that Bernie and Liz have similar plans.

Although it may seem like Liz is focusing on helping Black people, it's just the framing of her generic platform.

Both Bernie and Liz have platforms that will help us, but Bernie doesn't frame if it's tailored to Blacks like she does.

For example...Liz supporters pretend that her redlining plan is specifically for Blacks, but it isn't

The down payment assistance isn't "Black only".

Additionally, those formerly redlined areas aren't even Black areas like that.

Examination of the maps, numbering over 200, reveals that approximately 11 million Americans (10,852,727) live in once-redlined areas, according to the latest population data from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (2017). This population is majority-minority but not majority-Black, and, contrary to conventional perceptions, Black residents also do not form a plurality in these areas overall. The Black population share is approximately 28%, ranking third among the racial groups who live in formerly redlined areas, behind white and Latino or Hispanic residents.

America’s formerly redlined neighborhoods have changed, and so must solutions to rectify them
See, I got nothing against Liz and will vote for her if she gets the nomination. But I'm also not falling for her pandering.

That's why I said that I liked Bernie earlier. He's not going to tell you what you want to hear and doesn't care about giving an unpopular opinion to your face. He's honest like that.

He did it in the NAACP forum video posted earlier and he did it recently in the debate when he shytted on the NH senators for voting for USMCA and got "booed"
She’s pandering now?!:dead:

You ask for specifics on what in Lizs plans to benefit the black community and me and several other brehs point it out and now you claim liz is pandering. :dahell:

acknowledging the most consistent voting block of the Democratic Party and devising policies that are beneficial to them is pandering? Do you see her going on Ellen and doing the nay-nay or carrying hot sauce in her purse like hillary?:heh:

Who told you redlining wasn’t a policy aimed at blacks and other minorities in the mid 1900s?

nbc entrance polls showed only 20% of iowa caucus goers get their news from twitter lol:francis: those pro israel attack ads on bernie in the last week had more effect on late deciders than anything online

What happened to part of Hilltron that's backing Liz now? :gucci:

Yall had muscle and shooters just four years ago. Politics is about power/crushing your opponents and you did that, now four years later it's nothing but working the refs and calling the manager :gucci:

What are you talking about ? :stopitslime:

Y'all are saying that Liz has specific plans for the Black community, while Bernie does not. Y'all are saying that's why you choose Liz over Bernie. Y'all are saying that Bernie's plans don't focus on Blacks.

I am showing you that Liz's plans don't either. They're generic plans that will benefit us and she frames them as if they're for us.

Look at the redlining plan of hers...

Liz supporters pretend that her redlining plan is specifically for Blacks, but it isn't

America’s formerly redlined neighborhoods have changed, and so must solutions to rectify them
So my point is, how can y'all disregard Bernie because his plans aren't tailored to the Black community, but champion Liz when hers aren't either?

Treat them both fairly. I fukk with both.
