It’s not upper class, Upper middle class - Wikipedia

And the distinction is further complicated by geography
I don't know about 20k, but at 200k I;d happily kick out an extra 5-10k per year (assuming it'd be that much) to not have to pay any co-pays, deductibles, or premiums for my family, and to help my fellow Americans be in the same situation.

Paying taxes is never fun, but I'd rather it go to health care than to wars and other shyt I don't support.

My only gripe (and this is another discussion) is I DO really wish more Americans took better care of their own health instead of doing thing like relying on going to the ER as their primary care doctor and never paying the bill.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
It’s actually not, sometimes it’s better to trust the people who live out here to provide perspective.
So what you saying, breh?

Didn't we do this already?

who's saying not to ask questions?

Ask away. Write them down. If Bernie wins they'll come into play. If not, who cares. You already have some ideas on how it will get paid for.

Anyway...you and @88m3 got me curious so let's go based off of the chart that as posted in here...

Income of $210K in San Francisco

- $7000 for health insurance

= $123K take home pay

You can get this nice apartment in Presidio for around $4K

Income of $210K in Brooklyn

- $7000 for health insurance

= $119K take home pay

You can get this nice apartment in DUMBO for less that $4K a month.

If the taxes on that website are way off, lmk. But it doesn't seem terrible, tbh.

Also, I contributed 6% to the 401Ks

shyt, if that's terribly inaccurate let me know.

he should stick to making cringe worthy doctor rap videos

edit: his solution is philosophical change, which bernie/warren/progressives in general would agree with but that doesnt make the existence of m4a mutually exclusive

haggling down drug company prices, convincing people to move from lucrative specialities (cards, gi, etc) into primary care which we all know is over worked and underpaid to get shytted on by patients with 30 co-morbidities day in and out, etc will take time (putting it lightly) even with incentives of extra pay

could go on (including 2 hours [exaggerated] after clinic is actually over just trying to make sure billing is correct, etc) but basically he already came in with a mindset that m4a is trash. i would point towards the ACP for further thoughts

Trying to describe people who make 200k a year as average...so that you can then make the argument that average people will lose an extra 20k in taxes because of Bernie? Should I really believe that this is an objective argument made in good faith?
Look, if you think regular 9-5ers who make 100k aren’t average people, be my guest. No one said their income was the average, but they are average day in day out folks in the grind like everyone else is. They’re not old money billionaires or new rich kids, they’re not celebrities and athletes, they’re not c suite executives flush with million dollar salaries and multi million dollar stock plans. So again, please paint feel free to view them however you want, as part of that income bracket who had to do it on loans and starting behind the mark like many other black people, I know I may make above average but I’m just as limited in power and flexibility as someone making half of what I make, if the job goes so does the lifestyle

can y’all not read average people vs average income? There are a lot of everyday people making six figures, they are average everyday people as their income comes from wages. They lose their job they struggle like anyone else, they’re not sitting on fortunes. They’re working hard to have attained that life and yes, 20k extra going missing will not be a drop in the bucket

it's fine, if they lose their job M4A will have them and their family covered

Because what you get out here in that income bracket is not what you’d get elsewhere. The volume of people making that brings down the value of that income

this is what the almighty $200k income earner gets to look forward to buying

I'm also bothered by how he skirts any question that relates to what he will do for black people specifically. It's always mixed in with "people of color" and immigrants, etc.

Perhaps I'm wrong and missed something but that is my observation at this point at least.
He's addressed this. He's said that he doesn't have a specific agenda for black people specifically, but that he wants to represent lower class and middle class Americans. I at least appreciate that he's not making false promises about reparations or things like that.

Despite this, he has the most support right now from minorities out of all the candidates, and his Campaign Chairwoman Nina Turner is amazing

Says the "Warren supporter" who has spent the past 8 months making snide remarks about her & her campaign.

I've always said the party is goofy for not getting behind Warren, and b/c of their cowardice will now have to live with Bernie as the candidate. He will lose to Trump, I stand by that.
Everyone likes her but Biden sucked air out the room over this stupid media electability bullshyt and let warren flounder and she's out here doing all the heavy lifting by herself.

:ehh:

I trust that all of these things will be considered when drafting the legislation.

If it were me I'd argue against the idea that hospitals have to turn a profit.

We don't expect fire and police departments to turn profits. :yeshrug:
bernie knows none of this

his literally a cheerleader and nothing more.

we're fukked
