You never had to buy a whole coin fam, we been told people this YEARS ago.

All them years ago when bitcoin was 1500 you could put 300 down and have 1/5th of a coin that would be 11 fukking racks by now, just waiting in a wallet growing as bitcoin grows.

You have always been able to buy fractional shares. Yall too busy screaming to just listen.

I dont understand it man. Its like the people that missed out on the early days are so fukking MAD that they missed it, that they resent the whole fukking system today instead of jumping the fukk onboard. Like, you gonna stay salty about missing the first train car when theres 30 more train cars left for you to board? Why?

This shyt wild man. Ill never understand it.
It's a mental leap to invest in some shyt that didn't even fukking exist 10 years ago even if the fundamentals tell you this is 95% going to be a slam dunk. The human mind is designed to be risk averse. This is how we survived the wilderness.

Most people don't understand what a market cap is or a PE ratio. I am living with a ivy league grad in her 30s who makes over 100k and she doesn't have a clue what it all means.

So how do you expect first and second generation college grads to throw their hard earned savings into bitcoin instead of Facebook stock unless they have mad cash to burn or are econ majors?

At the same time I hear you. But it is hard to trust people with your money breh.

This is all true - but at some point if you want to be financially free you have to learn how things work and put money away for some type of risk to pay off.

Edit: Also Ivy League education doesn't mean shyt.

Brehs dont get this kind of opportunity :yeshrug:
Bro I agree that white supremacy is real and a problem but i keep telling people technology is the great equalizer. Our ancestors literally could not access the information they needed to be successful. Technology has changed that. Anything you need to learn is in the palm of your hand. They’re turning in their grave at the opportunities we waste. Any black person that has access to the internet can be anything they want to be. We shun and bully the “nerds” like vitalik buterin but will say we don’t have opportunities. Look at him, he’s 100lbs soaking wet. I guarantee he spent majority of his life in front of a computer, coding. That took dedication and discipline. No girls, no parties, just work. We put this type of effort in sports but not science and technology. Look at thecoli, These type of threads won’t do numbers but make a thread on Kevin Samuels and it’ll have 100 pages arguing about nothing.

Ding Ding Ding!

And that's why I don't take anyone who complains about most things seriously. Unless you REALLY got directly affected by some racist shyt, you should be finding a way to eat. Even compared to people in other countries we have so much at our fingertips. But cats would rather sit around and bytch instead of finding out how to succeed.

At this point if you dont have a few grand in crypto you are just missing out for no damn reason. You dont even have to hold the crypto itself if you dont want.

You can invest in coinbase via: COIN or Voyager Digital via: VYGVF

Normal stock market tickers if you are too afraid to hold the assets directly; but this is and has been the biggest opportunity to build wealth of our entire generation.... Bitcoin started at fractions of a cent. And getting crypto requires none of the shyt filtered by white supremacy like bank managers deciding not to approve your loan because you are black. Get this fukking money my dudes. In 30 years man you really gonna wish you did.

Even as small as 3,000 is one night at the casino. Just charge that shyt to the game and get a nest egg.
they don’t hear you tho..let them be like they dumb ass parents who missed out on the Internet.

This is what investing is about in a nutshell. Investing takes foresight. The people who are crypto millionaires had the foresight to see where we are today, 10 years ago. Bitcoin crashed several times and they were laughed at. But they had the foresight to see what crypto would be once the kinks were figured out. Investing is seeing what problem a company or product is trying to solve, understanding the problem, and what would the world look like if they’re successful. Tesla is the most shorted company in the world with bad fundamentals and almost went bankrupt. Amazon wasn’t even profitable until recently. The investors that won big are the people that knew the problem these companies were trying to solve and took the risk because they had foresight. You can invest in these companies now but you’re not going to 10x your money because they already did the hard part and solved the problem.

Just like when Bill Gates was used as a benchmark of success. Just work hard.

Never mentioned all of the programs and elite schools that offered their labs to him.

And stealing other student's computer lab cards so he could stay longer.

even more important than the money is how his “gift” was cultivated at an early age...his pops taught him how to program early on and saw he had an affinity for it...taught him what he could then hired a software developer to tutor him privately...granted it required some money for him to receive those private lessons but not an “unattainable” amount...more important than the money at times is the seeds that are planted
Not to mention connections too. He went to one of the most elite boarding schools in the country and then Harvard after that. That exposed him to ideas he wouldn't have seen otherwise and allowed him to rub shoulders with people he could partner with who would help the ideas forward.

Even the basic idea behind Facebook didn't come from him, it came from other Harvard students.

What about all the kids that went through those same elite schools and labs but didn’t build Microsoft?

Bill Gates is the 1% of the 1% of entrepreneurs breh. You either got it or ya don’t
Bill Gates had a lot more advantages than that. Read the Malcolm Gladwell chapter on his upbringing, he was taught to code in a special club that was giving kids access to skills that virtually no one had at that time, certainly not anyone their age. It wasn't just that he went to Harvard, he was in the 1% of Harvard in terms of the access to programming learning he had at the time. And on top of that, similar to Zuckerberg he didn't even make his first product himself, he just took someone else's product and repackaged it.

And he didn't do it by himself. Microsoft was a team of like minded and skilled individuals that formed the collective Microsoft.

People need to read Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. He goes into all aspects of this very thing you're asking me.
Yup, that's what I'm saying.

Steve Jobs apparently didn’t Even know how to unbox the Apple desktop and plug it in according to his daughter she said she realized that day he wasn’t the brains behind the tech :mjlol:

a lot of these rich dudes just take credit for other peoples work. But vitalik is actually extremely bright.
Jobs is just a visual design/image guy. There are posters here who know more programming than he does.

He owes his money to the Bitcoin inventor a Asian dude
Not that we know that Asian dude really exists or is really the one who evented Bitcoin. No one has ever verified that.

I agree that everyone has their own strengths. Those strengths usually revolve around what they find interesting though. So other things they may not appear as good at, in reality they probably weren’t that interested in so never took the time to develop said skill.

But please don’t underestimate the importance of encouragement and being uplifted. Most self doubt is instilled in us by others. Unfortunately for some, doubt just becomes a way of life.

I might start my own cryptocurrency. I’m positive I can figure it out if I put my mind to it, and commit the proper time and focus. :yeshrug:
I failed Trig twice at community College
I was never going to get anywhere on the development side of tech

Key word crypto millionaire

all his money is in ethereum, he's not a real billionaire

he would only be a billionaire if ethereum is actually used as currency

if this guy withdraw all his ethereum into real money, the price of ethereum would crash to 0

he controls everything about ethereum, he can change anything about it whenever he wants

and people believe this is a real investment

I wouldn't be surprised if this crypto shyt is an economic attack by China and Russia on the United States

I was all in to, I had been convinced, only because I didn't sit back and look at the facts and what I already knew from experience with crypto for over 10 years

There's nothing intelligent about this guy, there's nothing great about crypto, anybody can make their own coin

that and making an exchange is the real business of crypto

all these other people are just followers pumping and dumping on each other, but eventually the head is gonna meet the tail and the snake will eat itself
You always hating on ppl getting money
He can withdraw that money into his bank
