I thought the post WM months might change with TKO but this is 2010-11 type shows.
They have too many shows to book right now but for some reason, the weekly stuff isn't interesting enough to keep up with. They just had Backlash, SNME is on Saturday which is a weird cross between a PPV and a house show, MITB is literally two weeks later, and I'm pretty sure they have another PPV at the end of June. After that, it's SummerSlam which is about a month from the late June PPV because it needs to be at the beginning of August now instead of mid-August, and there's another SNME in between those two shows.
In 2010/2011, they only had to worry about the PPV in front of them. Take three or four weeks to build it up, PPV, repeat for another three or four weeks. Now, they're just obsessed with content and quantity, but these big events feel meaningless.
That's not even getting into the stupid shyt like Jey not defending the title on PPV. He didn't defend at Backlash, he defended on TV, he's defending again on TV, and he's going to defend a third time on TV, instead of the PPV literally two nights before. Gunther is just getting a rematch even though they got rid of the rematch clause (don't know why), Rhea's in MITB when she can get a title shot whenever she wants, less spots in the MITB matches when more guys need ring time, multiple stars are still gone..........things just seem like a crowded mess right now.
