What was the point of the Truth and Cena angle if it was just going to lead to a glorified squash a few weeks later smh? They didn't even interact in the build up.

This was an angle that needed HHH's typical 30 volume build and he turned it into a Dr. Seuss book.

On paper the John Cena heel turn should be firing on all cylinders even with the Travis Scott involvement. I've imagined a Rock/Cena Old Man Hollywood Power Trip for a minute now with HHH going along for his own (but equally dubious agenda) and we could have gotten exactly that even with limited Rock appearances and he is absolutely BLOWING IT.

Cena welcoming Truth into his little circle and continuously corrupting him into something unrecognizable would have been a great subplot that would eventually lead to a Truth redemption arc down the line.

Hell HHH could have finally used his boy Karrion Kross to both rail against and yet use these outside celebrities to continue to sow his own brand of chaos. The Cena heel turn and TKO "Final Boss" the Rock could have led to all sorts of main stories and side quests, Cody could have still been the lynchpin holding it all together and even Seth Rollins and Heyman could have played into it with their whole "Seth has to lead the industry thing."

I've always been a HHH fan but he is BLOWING this shyt. Pause. Tony Khan would have done better (at least until he got bored and had a new signing) and Vince would have done something interesting with it, even if it was infuriating. This is boring and infuriating.
