Here’s your boy. He’s tight that after becoming undisputed, Ryan isn’t calling him out but Tank instead.

Told y’all a lot of people just don’t care and want the big, popular, interest drawing fights.

If Loma isn’t available, who else is available at 135?

Look whatever way you want to cut it, people don't want to fight Devin Haney. You can say it's because he's boring and not a show stopper, but logical, well constructed argument purports that it's because he is hard to beat from a boxing standpoint. He's a tricky fighter to beat round to round.

That's what it is.

No amount of belts or Boxing Media accolades change that N y’all kno how I feel about Ryan hoe ass Garcia to be saying that :heh:
Yeah that's a huge fight, the casual/youtube audience would build it into something else, maybe even bigger than Spence v Crawford :sadcam:

"A lot of people"......meanwhile you're referencing ONE guy that called out and pump faked a Manny fight and got a case of anxiety prior to Fortuna's loss to Jo Jo. So not only are you breaking out the knee pads for Tank pimping a fake belt, but now you're giving credence to an IG personality masquerading as a boxer.....all to discredit an Undisputed champion.

I was referring commentators under the video on YouTube and Twitter but you got it.

Who you beat matters, but how you beat them can matter too, if Haney would’ve flatlined kambosis his popularity might’ve rose amongst casuals. After the fight I tried explaining to my girl that fight was more important than tanks, she felt like she wasted her time watching it.
:yeshrug:
I hyped ppl up for it and they left mid fight or fell asleep on the couch.

I'm starting to wonder why the thread on Tank winning by KO only at 80 pages of discussion on here while this thread is approaching 100 pages less than a week after the fight. You even stopped with the cheerleading 3 days after the Tank fight. Somehow you're over here on your crusade against Haney moving the needle well past that. Somethings not adding up.

Because this isn’t a casual fan section, haneys dominance was appreciated by people who understood what they saw, plus that fight had more at stake. I think breh is speaking on how this is viewed from a more casual perspective.

That’s it. He’s making it seem I hate Haney. He has to become more entertaining while still being slick. Think Mayweather v Hatton. Floyd was defensive while still destroying dudes.

Naw, my man was hating. He's on like his 5th talking point as to why Saturday wasn't a win/win for Haney and fans. His uncle fell asleep, Devin didn't do what Floyd did to his opponents at the weight, Tank is a bigger star, etc. Even went as far as saying the name of people like Ryan Garcia as if he's some kinda huge star or great boxer. Meanwhile, Ryan's own promoter had this to say after watching a "boring" night of boxing

Buddy is hating and he's bogging down a thread that's mostly shooting praises Haney's way for the performance he put on with his Tank fandom.

Teo, Ryan, Loma, Tank & Devin need to round robin to settle all this.
Kambosos is irrelevant. Teo fukked up massively losing to him, I'm gonna write it off as he didn't take him seriously and leave it at that. I was thinking maybe Kambosos would be one of those guys who fights to the level of his competition but Haney showed that he is who we thought he was and Teo let him off the hook

The amount of pages after each fight is around the same
This thread has more pages during the fight cause 1. The fight was twice as long and 2. It was more accessible being on ESPN instead of a PPV

I challenge you to flip thru the last 3-4 pages of that thread and see if there's anyone on there that typed as much as you just did in your post. There's nothing but tweets and videos. You can play the numbers off as if it's a byproduct of ESPN or the fight length, but not only is this thread bigger, the level of engagement amongst posters is higher. I only quoted a couple people that were making it a point to downplay the impact of this fight, both within the ring and amongst the fans. I'm simply not understanding how a fight that didn't move the needle "like that", is garnering so much praise from current and former boxers, athletes, entertainers, etc while scoring good viewership numbers and also stirring the message boards like this almost a week after the fight. Numbers don't lie. I'm guessing the ones I quoted and disagreed with are the ones lying.....to themselves.
