This seems likely. Wrestling is one of those careers where you need a handful of co-workers who, despite having a decent in-ring rep, etc. are strictly there to keep it light and boost morale when days get hard. He's one of those types.

Otherwise, that was the most cohesive work I've seen in a minute given how many WWE people were legitimately disheartened by the news.

Every sport has these guys, the Jeff greens, Nick collisions, Udonis Haslems Scott Carson at man city.

likr you mention they do the little things

Laveck really doesn't fukk with LA Knight :mjlol:

Might as well have put it on La Grande Americano/Chad Gable then. Seth is such a shytty result. Main eventers don't need the briefcase, they should only be in the match to elevate it.

It depends on the type of face. I look at MITB as a mechanism where the ideal holder is ready to take that next step or has had opportunities few and far between, but most of those chances get fukked up by someone who has nothing to do with the situation.

LA Knight isn't a face that ducks smoke. He isn't portrayed as an underdog type. I can easily see him being the type to tell the champion ahead of time "This shyt is happening today, YEAH" and that would be that. It would also make sense for him to say "I saw an opening. I took it. If you have a problem with it, get yourself a rematch and I'll be waiting."

I have no problem with a face who doesn't get a ton of opportunities to take the sneak attack role. especially given that there's a lot of face talent that in theory would have had reigns already if some outside entity didn't screw it up for them when they had their shot. For faces with MITB, the important part is how you book them after the fact.

I.E. you have to book them as if they could have ALWAYS been that breh/brehette had they just gotten a fair chance in the first place. They win on their merit, as opposed to someone like Jey Uso, whose title matches thus far all have had interference.

For a heel, what's important is that they become champion. Details on how they won it or how long they held it be damned.

For a face, what's important is what kind of champion they were after winning it. Details on how they won it be damned (as faces generally don't have long runs with the title).
I see what you mean, he's not a goody two shoes type and I know he could make it work. Maybe it's just my way of thinking for his first title run to be organic on some "Knight is undeniable" and he won't stay down, back down or stop trying even when he loses. I think he'll get there, even if it takes a Rumble win.

I love the fact that Truth's son came out and squashed that whole "it was a work" bullshyt. The reality is that Nick Khan executed it and HHH signed off on it, so neither one should be given a pass for that bullshyt decision. What made it so bad was the fact that Truth is a regularly featured act, it's not like he's Sara MAGA Logan. :mjlol:

Considering the majority of his schtick is from 1997-98 Stone Cold Steve Austin, you'd assume that whole undeniable thing would come. But as over as he is, people haven't started hijacking shows on his behalf or anything yet.

That said, my concern is I don't know where he gets his chance. It seems clear that Rollins is about to be World Champion only to lose to Punk down the road -- or he will be screwed out of the strap by Punk. I don't see anyone beating Cena for the WWE title beyond Cody.

So where does he fit in the grand scheme? Then you've got people like GUNTHER, Priest, Jacob, Drew, etc. waiting. There's a logjam here.
