My theory is it's the new normal.
Think about the girls who are growing up with Instagram. Going from hundreds or thousands of men giving you attention that you can flirt with from age 13 or earlier, it's hard for their brain to accept being satisfied with one man, no matter how much you love him. Once you expose the brain to supernormal stimuli like constant novelty, it's really hard to ween yourself off it. Similar to a porn addict. A guy who's been watching many new porn videos daily since childhood just can't get the same stimuluation from one girl no matter how much he loves her, hence the exponential surge in erectile dysfunction among otherwise physically fit young men.
Sounds funny, but their brains may actually be wired to crave constant new male attention thanks to early and extensive social media use.

It was designed that way. Technology in general -smartphones, social media, were all designed to mess with people’s normal executive functioning and reasoning. It’s designed to be addictive. Teens and adolescents already have issues with reward seeking behavior (risky most of the time) but the use of technology has definitely made it worse.

Women constantly need validation. I forgot exact Chris Rock joke but he mention Mother's Day vs Father's Day. He said women need food,water and compliments,us men just need food and sex. When women are little girls they wanted their fathers attention "Look daddy look" their father would reply "very nice princess" that little girl would smile and be proud. When same father ignores them it's "daddy look why aren't you looking" . That same little girl grows into Insta Thot "Look men i got my breasta and ass out look look" that attention she wants is filling void of her father .When he doesn't show the attention she thinks of her father and some cases the said woman sees it as love
