This team would have NO answer for LeBron whatsoever and their bench was invisible. There's a reason this team got swept out of the playoffs annually.

Jordan coming back, Penny fighting through injuries, and Shaq opting to go to Los Angeles fukked that team over.

Lebron is perimeter based.The Heat couldn't handle a consistently great inside presence.

Even Jordan had trouble guarding Penny in his prime. Lebron even patterned his game after Hardaway's. Lebron would not be able to shutdown Hardaway like he does these smaller guards.

Uh, let's not go overboard here. Duncan is still a great player. Not an MVP guy he used to be but still good all around and better than most big men in the game still.

Put it like this... because I'm a veteran NBA fan and I've learned a lot the past 20+ years studying this game.

Youth is NEVER served in the NBA. I actually picked that 95 Magic squad to beat the Rockets because I was only 12 back then. Last year I laughed at anyone who thought OKC stood a chance because Miami was a hungry, veteran squad playing against babies.

The 95 Magic were a team of toddlers. No way they're gonna beat a team with championship pedigree AND LeBron James.

Let's not forget it took Shaq 5 more years before he finally became a champion in this league.

And the only defensive strategy vs. LeBron is to make him shoot the jumper and have a defensive anchor to guard the rim.

San Antonio was able to live with that the whole series. The problem for them is that LeBron went off in a game that San Antonio knew they shouldn't have been playing in the first place. That is why you step on the neck and close it out and dont give your opponent new life... esp in a game where LeBron couldn't hit anything from the outside.

This Heat team could probably beat that Magic team due to their depth and the Magic's lack of experience. Would they beat the Hakeem led Rockets? I don't think so.

I just can't see a perimeter oriented team like the Heat beating a team with a dominant(not just "good"..I'm looking at you Roy Hibbert) center.


Especially a dominant center surrounded by shooters and another dominant creator/one on one player like Penny
