Nah, I behead that oppressor and decimate their remains. And that is what people WORLDWIDE are doing.

We need UNIONS, we need to slash bloated bonuses from the CEO and execs and shareholders to raise the wages by a few bucks. We need to go to the pre-1980 standards of business practice.

You got duped thinking that business means the CEO get paid in large sums while the worker doesn't deserve anything. Reaganomics got knocked off its ass, and you are :to:, trying to revive it.

Once again you're showing your weakness.. :pachaha:

Y'all can't even get your mommies and daddies to let Y'all stay in the basement past 18..

Now Y'all think you can make greedy CEOs pay a living wage? When its been proven that these same greedy b*stards will let their businesses crash before they pay you a livable wage.. :pachaha:

What are you looking at right now that lets you know y’all efforts are working?

this definitely would be the move, but shareholders and executives want to squeeze every last penny out these mfs.

obviously it hit a point of diminishing returns at that location, but i don't expect them to stop

too much simple greed + need to produce record profits every quarter

So Cal
I dapped this but I actually don't think this is what the young people are thinking.

They are saying fukk working hard for these companies, because they all think they are going to be millionaires of YouTube, rap, clothing lines, (add young kid fantasy here) , etc
As a 23 year old some think that, but quietly a lot of us realized we've been had/lied to by Gen X/Boomers, and marriage, kids, house and picket fence are probably not happening for the bulk majority of us so we refuse to spend our time doing shyt that doesn't either make us good money, or brings us fulfillment/joy. Problem is in the rat race that is Amerikkkan education we've largely lost track of the bolded and don't have any true passions as we gave them up very young. In a traditional sense there are only few traditional job sectors that pay well, and you know early on if you intellectually inclined for them or not, of you're in the in between, you just want your own space, own car, and enough to eat out and maybe travel.

Deep down we all know the world (particularly Amerikkka) is headed into fukkery so we don't really care to reproduce or build anything/leave a legacy. We are disillusioned, and uninspired and the more intellectually inclined of us know if we're having a shyt time our potentially kids would be exponentially screwed

All that in mind, the last thing we'd do is those bs jobs that are neither fulfilling, nor pay shyt, unless you're high out of your mind.

I make good money doing independent contracting in hospitality but I still get regularly high because the jobs are often mundane, and the people are always WOAT

The bold..

White boomers and gen x lied to us..
The white millennial and zoomers can pitch a hissy fit about wages because their Boomers and Gen X got all the money/resources.. So they will only let their children fall off so far before they step in...

But this black millennial and zoomer generation, I pray that you know your white counter parts don't give a fck about y'all.. They consistently use our efforts to advance their agenda.. So at best, you can say black boomers and gen x didn't leave any generational wealth..

And im gen X FYI.. And I can admittedly say we definitely dropped the ball with our children.. Mostly because a lot of the generation X crowd just gave our kids "stuff", without teaching/mentally caring for them.

Oh I know it's fukk a cac ofany variety, young old, dem repub, 85%+ Cacs don't give a fukk about us or anything but other cacs/their own ass when push comes to shove. True allies are glitches in the matrix. I'm working to leave the country before Fall '24

A lot of the the Kumbuyaa ass negros with white women, white friends etc. Will get that rude awakening when shyt starts popping off in this country, moreover the great wealth transfer will leave them in the dust financially while their cac counterparts who put a fraction of the effort in will be caking

They didnt quit because of pay (based off the article).
They are understaffed and thus overworked because nobody wants to work there for the pay they are offering....

You need to read between the lines. It's blatant and pretty much a mainstream realization. Don't know how you can miss the point.

This has nothing to do with wages. This has to do with cost of living being high. Their is difference. Unfortunately most people in this thread are too stupid to know the difference. Thats why yall are in the position you are in now.

since when have wages ever been disconnected from the cost of living? I suppose the lower cost of living in the south have no correlation to wages there too right? why are you making assumptions about peoples positions if they support a living wage for all workers?

So if working a job gave you access to a decent place to stay, food and clothing, would that suffice?

My brother's keeper
Posters here use the most extreme cases. Single parent with 3 kids with their back against the ropes :skip:

Chipotle here pays like $17/hr. Even at 32 hours part time a week thats $2200 a month! For a 15-18 year old! But lets just say you were a full grown adult making that and dead set on not living with your parents (or cant), get some roommates or something damn. Majority of people just hating looking in the mirror.
Why do y'all keep this 15-18 yr old narrative going?

Who is supposed to be staffing these establishments when the teenagers are at school?

It'd be a bit dirty to cut off digital orders considering the fact that said digital orders help keep businesses alive and said workers employed during the height of the pandemic.

Idk breh. I’ve been at chipotle during a rush and the employees are trying to manage the line and digital orders and look like they are about to pull their hair out lol.

IMO the better option would cut off digital orders at a certain time or if things get too crowded to stop the rush, which what some businesses are actually doing. If they want food, then show up at the store or order through the store app and not delivery, which a lot of people won't do so that will help with the rush.

Most non-corporate places have that option
