North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Y'all stay falling for these clickbait titles
It’s not click bait. It’s a real person.

And the cost of living up here is insane. If I didn’t already have a condo here, I would’ve never came back.

Even when I lived in Charlotte, you can see rental prices starting to go up.

And where you live is important. Your zip code determine what schools your kids go to, how much your car insurance will be, and your overall quality of life.

The problem with North Jersey, is you’re paying $1,300 is a 200 sq ft studio apartment in a building.

And property taxes are criminal.:snoop:

Those people likely aren't single mothers of 2 either. An hour commute isn't light work.

Plenty of people in the outer boroughs have a commute longer than that to work in Manhattan using mass transit. Good chunk of them have kids too. :pachaha:

Tell her to find a recently built apartment complex shouldn't be hard to find. They'll accept her because they are only concerned with filling up the vacant units. That's a pro tip I got from a property manager.

A lot of people complain about property taxes in NJ, but like 50% of it goes to public schools. It's good to actually see where ur money is going, cause we have some of the best public schools in the nation. Education shouldn't be just be for the rich. I've lived in other states and you question whe the money goes, and then to add to the public schools are usually 1-3 out of 10.

as it’s been said, she’ll have to rent directly from a person/landlord…granted they’ll do a credit check too but they may be reasonable and work with her when they hear her story…companies have become exceedingly rigid tho and will not budge…in addition to credit virtually being spotless many companies are adamant on your monthly salary being at least 3x the rent and again they will not budge on that

TYRONE GA!
He in Ghana. With is two other wives.

It’s kind of a sad situation. I used to date her sister. They have 2 different mothers. When they moved here her sister came finished high school, went to college and now she’s making six figures.

She didn’t come here until she finished primary school (she’s the oldest), and she didn’t go to college right away. So she struggled. And her sisters mother didn’t like her.

But she worked and went to school eventually so she could get better paying jobs. When she finally go one, COVID it and she got furloughed, then lost her job all together. And it took a long time for her to find this job.

Eventually her sisters wife convinced her dad fo kick her out last year. Been living with her aunt ever since.

I'm not saying there aren't any. She applied to 6 and they all blanked her. She obviously would have to lower her standards. Which is why I told her to stay where she was at. But I get it. She doesn't want to be a burden in someone's crib, even if it's family. Her daughter goes to middle school in Newark and is getting bullied which is one of the main reasons why she's trying to leave.

There's a lot of moving parts.

COVID fukked her credit up as she maxed out credit cards just to pay bills. She’s living with family and finally bounced back landing a job making 72k 3 months ago.

But every apartment she applied for denied her because of her credit score. So now she looking for apartments in bad areas.

:francis: These property managers be on bullshyt. And on top of that she wasted bread on application fees. I credit score is in the 500’s.

Lost all credibility talking about a female friend. :mjlol:

She screwed up her credit. Nothing to do with her pulling 70k. Terrible thread. Terrible person you are.

An 8.5 is much more than "solid".

That being said, even with an 800 score, getting an apartment on 72K/year here is an uphill battle. This isn't new.

An 8.5 means there’s nikkaz out there that think you a 9 or 10. An 8.5 means the majority nikkax wouldn’t mind at all

Is her ass fat?
Is her waist small

What she should be doing is working out & eating right. Not uncommon Forman above average looking woman calling shots even with kids
