Magic should just step down. A franchise should never give a contract like that to a player at Bron's age and mileage because he has never produced championships for them. They are basically getting the washed version of this player and paying a premium for him while facing uncertainty of him being able to produce a title for them when father time is banging on his door loudly. They should have saved the money for PG this season, then the rest to Kawhi and other players for this coming off season. Lakers have heavily dropped the ball, and this can set the franchise back even more because they will make desperate moves if the big names don't want to sign with them, like how the media has reported already.
