The way Love spaces the floor didn't matter because the defense closed in on him which made him put it on the floor.

Gotcha, he was able to make some things happen off the dribble in those situations though. Just think the offense would be even worse if the defense didn't even have to rotate out to Bron or Wiggins.

So lemme ask you, right now would you rather have Wiggins or Love?

I like JR, always wanna make excuses for him but breh always lets me down :mjcry:
JR is a mental midget in big games. Dude was absolutely TERRIBLE in the finals last year and game 7 of his finals career is no different. He appears to have a legitimate excuse for last night, but I would not count on him for much.

I trust Delly more than I trust JR Smith in the finals.

Curry was a -1 last night in a 15 point win. In other words the Warriors were outscored by 16 when he was on the floor. This idea that Steph's presence is what lead to guys like Livingston and Barbosa (13-15) going off last night doesn't add up. :yeshrug:
Him being a -1 means they got outscored by 1 when he was out there, not 16. If they were outscored by 16 then he would have been a -16 :dahell:

Honestly don't know. I understand the original decision. Bron had a 4year window max of being Bron once he got to Cleveland. To depend on a rookie to develop enough to play a major role in a championship at the point was a pretty big risk.

There are a lot of things to like about Wiggins, but his 3 point shooting was as bad as Bron's this year. He's long and athletic, good defender etc. which fits into the GSW mold, but all of your wings with the exception of Livingston are serviceable from outside which makes a huge difference. Wiggins might be better in this particular matchup, but there was no way to know that when they made the trade.

:francis: Again that is not what I was implying in my post. Obviously my post would be in regards to the guys getting open shots while Steph is on the court.

And what does a +/- have to do with guys getting open shots? Doesn't mean they'll always make them:manny:

Inefficiency hasn't changed since last year's Finals

It's interesting as hell watching how Lebron even off ball calling for screens to get Iggy switched off of him before trying to go and get the ball. I don't know if it's a positive or negative about Lebron that he acknowledges the defenders that give him trouble and will work to get that defender off of him. He does the same thing with Kawhi. When he has the ball and they're covering he'll call for screen after screen until the team finally switches then he'll attack. I always felt it kills the flow of the offense.

Just not sure why we're talking about Steph setting guys up when the decisive run in the game came from role players when he was on the bench.:yeshrug:

Don't get me wrong I know he's great at setting up teammates both directly and indirectly, it just had nothing to do with Livingston and Barbosa going off/widening the lead.
