You think he's :troll:?
He needs to be if they want to win. GS has been doing this. That's there bread abs butter. They did this all the way to a 73-9 season. Cleveland has been doing this for what? Half a season? The arrogance to think they could beat the Warriors at there own game is wild.

Only way that works is is GS is worn out after going 7 with OKC. Absolute. Only way

It's all relative, I think he wants to push the pace, but not play at GS pace. For the Cavs pushing the pace would mean 95 possessions per game :russ: If the opportunity presents itself to push it then yeah I think they will, other than that the most overlooked aspect of LeBron's career has been his ability to control the pace of the game, all of his teams have played slow.

When Toronto got at Cleveland, they responded by blowing them out the water the next 2.

When OKC got at GS, they responded by winning sure--but unconvincingly. Y'all were down big in every single follow up game and if it wasn't for Klay Thompson blacking out and channeling the spirit of Michael Jordan in Game 6 you would've lost in a blowout there too.

Only one team has looked anything close to dominant this playoffs and it's not yours. I don't wanna hear that "weaker conference" BS either considering GS' first two opponents were far worse than Cleveland's, and statistically speaking OKC and Toronto were evenly matched.

Sorry. :umad:
Toronto got those 2 games because Cleveland put up 82 3s

OKC won that game/series?:patrice:

and Bron averaged 28 ppg on 57% shooting 51% from 3 in the second series against the Spurs. :whoo:
I guess that's not taking control.:lupe:

Yeah, Bron's 25 11 and 7 had nothing to do with that championship.:russell:

25 11 and 7 with a super team:russell:whats your point? If LeBron averaged less they still would have won regardless you have arguably one of the best PFs in the league who can shoot 3s and a HOFer SG.

Before game 5 KD averaged 30 ppg on 39% from 3 and 54% overall FG and lost in 5 :dwillhuh:

Bron averaged 28 I n a series against the Spurs but lost as well in 5 games with humiliating deficits

Is that not the same? You just contradicted yourself

Besides that KD didn't have enough support with Westbrook shooting 20% :scusthov:

and who had 0 points in game 7. :ehh::mjlol:
Heat only had 5 people score in that game. 2 of their starters didn't.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Ty means. He's been talking "space and pace since he took over" with no noticeable difference in their actual pace. I'm thinking maybe push it up the floor so they can get into their sets quicker, give them time to probe GSW's defense? Seemed like they were walking it up a ton against the Raps though.

Honestly I just think he wanted the guys to get in better shape and be better prepared for a faster paced game and have more stamina.

I would think he wants Kryie to push pace, but like you said he's been saying that since he took over and they still play slow as fukk, they had a 89.3 pace vs the Raptors that's basically playing at the old Knicks & Heat pace from the 90s.

Maybe he thinks they can win a shootout with GS, I mean if you look at the teams they do have more scorers, GS doesn't have a 4th or 5th guy that can get 30 while the Cavs do (Smith / Frye ). But, they are built to slow the game down, highly efficient half court offense that can score 100+ with such a slow pace.

This is a really tough series to call, the Cavs have all the right ingredients to beat the Warriors, but the Warriors are so good it's :mindblown:

That makes a little more sense, cause their offense has been otherworld status even though they've played at such a slow pace, and making those turnovers + missed threes costly is what the Cavs should be focusing on.

Beat them up on the glass, slow the game down so every turnover matters, and hit your threes against their defense.

Exactly. That's what people miss when they say "they are playing like the Warriors". No they are just scoring like the Warriors in fewer possessions. Their offensive efficiency is the key to this series. If they can keep scoring like that while keeping the pace slow and limiting turnovers they will win. If they go cold or get pulled into an up and down type game with the Warriors then they will lose.

I think they'll see a hit to their efficiency on offense, but it's been so ridiculously high in the playoffs coming down even a little bit would still make it potent. They've already gone against a very good defensive team in the Hawks and absolutely shredded them, 91 pace, 112ppg and 123 ORTG against the 2nd best defense in the league. The Hawks didn't have the individual defender to put on LeBron like the Warriors do with Iggy, but I also don't think Klay can guard Kyrie without some help so that opens up other areas.

I don't think Bron will allow them to get into an up and down game, he's been a master of controlling pace his entire career, he's smart enough to know trying to run with them is a death sentence.

True, but that is still contingent on them making shots/controlling the glass and not turning the ball over. All it takes is a couple bad passes or long rebounds and BAM! the Warriors are on a 12-0 run. At the same time he can't just pound the ball into the ground for 20 seconds like he did last year either. They are gonna have to move the ball like they have been doing without making mistakes.
