It's a lineage.

I don't agree with everything they say it's not that complicated.
:stopitslime:

Will u stop with that bullshyt

These are BRANDS mane

That's why piss colored Yvette and Lip gloss Tariq are so passionately beefing with each other

We didn't need them two Negroes to give us these labels to find an identity

And we surely didn't need those two clowns to lead the fight for REPARATIONS as well.....

I swear y'all seem most infatuated with Hero Worship than actually finding solutions to black folks problems

ados, still rocking with Yvette an Tone. If your serious about the issues and political activism, they’ve created a wonderful template to follow at the ados101 website. It amazes me that some people would rather be entertained by black issue flame throwers rather than the people doing the work on the ground. TBA and Tariq are the black equivalents to Rush Limbaugh to me

I don’t. Just sitting back and looking at the timeline of when the fukkery began, Tone and Vette were the ones who started moving funny. You can tell they felt a certain way about Tariq’s conference. Outside observers were pointing this out and Tariq downplayed it, he was stressing that there was no beef and he literally called tone and vette a godsend. Then the NYT article came out next thing you know those two were coming at Tariq about those trump tweets when it’s obvious none of the parties involved rocked with trump. The last straw for me was them coming for Dr. Claude yet again

I kinda do and don’t but I agree with 2020 politics and 1965 politics. We ain’t going back to the past so there needs to be a more realistic approach. I don’t see no dude here giving up their house to go back to the hood or go back to driving a hoop tie cuz it’s black owned so there needs to be a realistic approach to what black folks need to do.

the old heads are great teachers but we need to be real and those days ain’t. IMO got back. That’s the only thing about them that I can respect the outlook in modern human nature and a realistic viewpoint of where were at but I do think their democratic shills who just want to help blacks close the gap but not really keep up with it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they supported 15 per hour and free health care.

thwy definitely don’t want us to be likes Asians and Jews they just want us to close the gap a little with government jobs baby bonds and other. Nonsense. They aren’t black empowerment at all.

They are a great source of data, and offer great context for a lot of the economic disparity we are subject to.
They are in no way shape or form leaders though.

Neither is Tariq for the record.
All of this

Nope. After what they said about Dr Claud Anderson and Dr Welsing I dialed it back from them. After that vote democrat down ballot bullshyt I knew they weren't about anything and after The Black Authority exposed Tone Talks plan for reparations to include all races, I question the sanity of anyone still following them.

I never really rocked with Yvette from the get go. I agree with some of the stuff she said but I will admit Tariq has set the standard for what I expect from these conscious black folks barking on social media.

I expect at least one video weekly addressing shyt in the news and I expect your presence to be known offline in the streets through donations/mentoring etc (Melinoid nation). I expect you to be able to generate income as well.
It seems more like you want a popular entertainer than someone moving the reparations cause forward. How is a weekly video show going to get reparations over the political/legal hurdles?

This. Tariq is the floor...Yvette nor Antoine have met that baseline standard yet.

I hate they there is all this infighting but I admit it was a miscalculation for them to go against Tariq. He has more clout and experience on these matters.

That said, I don’t know where the movement goes from here.
