This post season shyt is trash. This isn't basketball.

Walter Payton has 1 100 yard game in the post season for his career while Marshal Faulk averages 3.2 ypc in the playoffs.

Please keep the "in the playoffs" metrics for RBs in the trash
Can't really fault fault Walter for that.. Defenses were more geared at stopping the run in the 70s-80s

No....in the football playoffs, teams often take away the best player.

But we have cats in here using "the best out of seven games" metrics and applying it to football players.

Randy Moss hasn't scored much either in the playoffs.

True...

And I was thinking....

Instead of ranking greatest of all time wouldn't it be easier to rank these running back by decade..?

I don't see a problem with ranking all time greatness. I just don't see the sense it makes to use the playoff angle for RBs. It makes no sense. Dudes don't suddenly lose their RB IQ during a football game. Teams have a week to prepare and hopefully take them out the ONE game people want to hang over a RB head now as if they're talking about Lebron or Kobe.

Mutha fukkers are just dumb in here..

Look that 85 Bears team that destroyed the Rams in the NFC Championship. ED couldn't even breathe in that game :damn:

If that happened now poor Eric would get lambasted

And the wel prior, ED shredded the Cowboys for 248.

Niqqas act as if a RB football IQ is sometimeish and doesn't show up suddenly in the playoffs. :heh:

Keep those in the playoffs thing tied to qbs....

Gurley is close. Now can Gurley have the longevity that AD has shown considering Adrian is doing this at 30 years old now.

Gurley is the next evolution of what AP was as a dominate generational back.
Next after that is Fournier.
The same way the tcu QB and the QB from Clemson are the next hopeful black qb's like McNair and Vick.
I would not say Adrian was Jim brown or Walter.
Yet, I can say all time I feel he is a hair below as a different style of runner than Barry and Eric were.
Adrian has anomaly prowess as a once in a lifetime style talent.
In the same way, Jim, Walter, Barry, Eric, and others were that dude all time.
As to this day, Adrian has his own style as an all time great back.
Similar to and like all those other great past backs were.

Jesus christ niccas bringing rings into a discussion about running backs brehs?

You can't use rings in the rb argument.
as, Jim brown is the all time king of the whole actual sport.

The ring argument is only relevant in QB discussions and basketball.
In basketball, it is relevant because of the Celtics and the makeup of what that org stands for all the way around from locale to race.
So, the ring argument exists because the celt's won the most.
Plus, race integrated successfully with ship based results.
So, they have a talking point to deflect against racism.
Yet, we all know better and if you watched celt's basketball in the 80's you know what time it is.
As, the white privilege and narcissism is in full effect in that sport and its discussion because of boston's legacy.
In football, the ring argument exists for qb's.
All because full leadership is deflected upon the QB position.
That is narcissistically platooned in the subject of race.
So, in that argument is why the QB ring argument is given precedence over actual skill/talent/numbers, in media/grassroots consciousness.
Yet, devoid of that white narcissism in the football argument, Jim brown is still the king and in life.
As, Jim brown is the archetypical male.
you are aspiring to be and white people don't want you to know Jim brown.
Which is all narcissism, and deflection.
So, that white America does not have to deal with the possibilities of Jim brown being a standard influence in American culture.
Race is the reason America does not want you to know jim brown and jack Johnson were and are the top American males in American history.
That personified everything a white man wants to do or be viewed as.
It is all racism why the ring argument exists and imo,...
I am glad guys like mj actually defeated that ideaology.
To become another black man who is known as a firm marker in the legend of American excellence

Best football player I've watched. Him or Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers, is nowhere near the talent of Adrian Peterson.
I think it is blasphemy to even mention the two as relatable.
Rodgers is not on Peterson's level as a skill player.

he comes this fukk boy again with his mental retard posts.

Anyways, ive said this a few years back that Barry Sanders is the only back that i honestly can say is slightly above AD. He's that good especially when teams game plan around him yet he still beasts. If he continues how he is doing for a couple more years then he'll take that GOAT spot
