now if you want to cut people open or become a structural engineer then take your ass to school but some of these other majors/degrees are pure bullshyt.

And i bet these professors aren’t telling these kids about the politics it takes to get/keep/maintain a job along with how trash the office culture can be in some instances.

Major part of this is the lack of truth telling about what comes next for them after college. If you are young, just ask your aunt of uncle what their work situation looks like and what they’d do differently. If bet some would say they’d avoid college altogether

One does not preclude the other. It is good to have diversification of representation so that we are represented across different professions. There are certain professions/industries that have "feeder" schools. For the tech sector, it is MIT for example. What is wrong with having a sizable Black student population at those types of institutions so that they can work at these reputable tech companies and increase our presence within them. The thing is let's have both HBCUs and representation at selective PWIs. Nothing wrong with that.
