I understand what OP is saying, but here is the thing...
A woman can place her child(ren) as her #1 priority all she want. However, if she expect a man to make her a priority, then she has to do the same with that man.
Basically, she will have to learn how to effectively distribute her time between being a Mom and dating and/or being a girlfriend.
If a woman isn't willing to invest time with someone, then she will have difficulty finding someone who is going to stick around. No person is going to be with someone who is low on the priority list. It isn't going to work!
So, the issue I

is that some people may not know how to make profiles that attract the type of person they are seeking. From my experience with online dating, it was rare to see women invest time in filling out profiles and many barely have photos let alone full body photos.
Maybe these new apps have a different format, but traditionally, profiles are literal advertisement to attract potential suitors. I believe what one puts into their profile is what they deserve to get.
The simple solution may be to avoid profiles that aren't filled out, lack photos as well as profiles that doesn't entice people to reach out to these individuals.
