I gave you a specific example so I couldn’t care less about you claiming it to be “a lie” because some nikka you went to high school with wasnt affected. Every business won’t be. Every community won’t. Speak in generals, not the exception.
The reason people don’t want to open businesses in the hood is because people in the hood can’t afford a lot of products and services, they don’t keep the streets clean, and they don’t respect the workers at the store. Nobody invests in low income areas. White people aren’t running to Appalachia to save them, and develop the economic landscape. I’m sick of us being expected to open up shop in the hood just because those are our people. That is an emotional financial decision. I’m going to open up shop in an area that can afford my products. Those areas happen to have more white people.

With the inflation going on and increasing hatred for mega-corporations I do believe they're closing due to skyrocketing theft. I also believe they closed those stores in the Pacific Northwest first in an attempt to avoid looking :mjpls:

What about them? They’re black owned? :ohhh:

Edit: They’re not. I’m confused by the question now. :lupe:

You were just upset that black business owners open up businesses in white communities. And you said white folks don't support them. I said they do. You said they don't.. I pulled up a few and you shot them down. :yeshrug:

Its tough opening up a black owned businesses in a black neighborhood though. The brothers and sisters will disrespect your shyt. And im not talking about all black people, so please dont go their. But enough to cause you problems and even contemplate closing down..

And don't bring up what white people do to their businesses. Im not concerned and don't need them to determine how I should act.

It was a thread on here about a black rapper who opened up a upscale restaurant.. The black patrons complained about the prices. Told the owner he forgot when he was starving in the streets. Those same mfers forgot when they were in upscale white owned steak houses, stunting on the gram, and posting pics of the receipt where they paid hundreds in those white owned establishments.

A segment of the black community HATE seing other black people do well for themselves. As long as they're on top, they cool. As soon as they see someone else getting money, they jealous hearts surface. Nikkas will start a fight in your sh*t and tear that mfer up because they want to bring harm and interrupt your business.

If you're black, and don't understand the struggles of opening a business in a black community, you obviously don't communicate with black business owners. Probably don't even support them. Just talking sh*t to be apart of a conversation they know nothing about.

We’ve seen the Salt Bae (wonder who gave him that name) videos, and all those comments. And I remember the thread with the upscale black restaurant, and the women were twerking. Too many of us refuse to let go of that hood mentality, even when we can afford to live better. It’s not even all about money. It’s about environment. Twerk at the BBQ, or a party, or the club, not a restaurant.

White people shoplift at high rates. They just don’t get caught as often, because they aren’t being followed as often.

The thing about white people is they won't turn down black dollars in most scenarios. This can't be about racism, what other reasons would they shut down the store?
That's the thing. No one knows and doesn't make sense. They closed a store in DC on H street and there's no way Walmart could say that store underperformed. It was always busy but they are still closing stores like that. :francis:

Some of yall are just flunkies for cacs. We are in a nationwide recession and more stores will close to minimize the damage to shareholders not because of "crazy nikkas". Opening up a grocery store is a expensive task that's why we need more CO OPs than another big box store.
Textbook, your statement makes a lot of sense but I disagree. Walmart is a big benefactor of food stamps and other government programs. They also are known for having busy stores and still understaff it. Only on Black Friday all registers are open. Store can be busy and they have like 5 registers open but 10 self-checkout registers. Last, many of the stores closing are the biggest or few retailers in their area. The notion of them closing stores due to the recession doesn't make sense considering store are not losing business.

That's half truth. One of the biggest issues is the cost of business insurance which is usually higher in the hood. However, local government subsidies can take care of stuff like and we've all seen it from gentrification the last 20 years.
