I remember that water problem too :russ:

Can't remember if it was first or second order though :jbhmm:

Damn I just realized I took diff eq 17 years ago :bryan:
it would be second order as a problem such as this couldnt be solved in a linear fasion with two varying drainage rates

I been looking for something for a minute. Have a BSME from PVAMU and have had the worst trouble getting my foot in the door. I'm still applying but I might need to network more. Might be my resume. Any pointers would be appreciated.

They don't even know. If there's some concept they didn't understand in math/engineering/physics they can just hit up youtube.

I had to go talk to a shytty professor that barely spoke english :mjcry:. Since that usually didn't work I had to do the same problem over and over again until my answer matched up with answers in the back of the book :mjcry:

you guys sound like when professors would start talking to us about slide rules haha.

We stayed hunting down that one person who somehow had the "solution manual " .

He/she had no chance. We could smell it on them.

Or if someone had an old exam from the same professor. :ohlawd:

Get your resume critiqued and sign up for conferences with career fairs. Most of the kats I know that got jobs either got it from a career fair or had the contact information of a recruiter/employee.

BEYA is a huge ass conference and they recruit heavy from HBCU's a lot of the recruiters are HCBU alumni. This would be your best bet. PV was out there heavy last two times I went.
If that doesnt work, sign up for the NSBE conference and do their career fair. I went last year and the career fair was enormous.

Applying on the USA jobs site is another option.

Homie go to NSBE convention in Kansas City this year in March. Trust as long as you are willing to locate you will get a job.

Defense is hiring like crazy now. Also if you don't care about location and just getting in the door you can get on at John Deere in waterloo or at one of the car manufacturers in Detroit. Just go to the NSBE convention hiring fair in kansas city. Make sure to be there first thing on thursday morning. They start scheduling interviews throughout the day and on Friday.

Also when you go to NSBE hit up UTC they be begging for engineers to go to conneticut they can't get black engineers up there.

This right here. I can't imagine an inline eng degree being accredited by abet.

University of North Dakota has an online EE that is ABET accredited, im in it right now actually, you have to go there physically 2 weeks during the summer for 2 particular labs, everything else is on line

its great IMO
