I'm like whatever about child support. :yeshrug: I pay over $2500/month, around ... not including health care and private school and random other shyt. like 40k or some shyt.

It sucks but it's not the worse thing that could happen. Being a sry nikka not in your kids life is the worst thing that could happen.

I pay CS but to my first born's mom. Unfortunately I'm the same cliche story where I would give her money under the table and keep her on weekends and even sometime during the week. We were together until my daughter was about 6 months and even after we split and things were fine.........until she realized I was actually done with her :merchant:. She always thought we would get back together but I knew I couldn't be with her. As soon as I told her there was no chance of us getting back together...BOOM here come the papers in the mail for mediation. :upsetfavre:I was heated cuz I did everything right. Luckily I was 20 and had a BS job so I only pay $244 a month and my mom and hers are daycare providers so I dodged that expense too :whew:. I hated her for a min cuz I never dealt with it before but we're cool now even to the point that we're friends. And I look at it like if I gotta pay $xxx for you to stay out my life than so be it.:yeshrug:Even the 3 year check ups she doesn't change anything. I got 2 with my ex wife...been divorced and she never took me to court. I've always did the right thing by them. But I do keep my records tho. Won't get caught slippin again. But the secret is to always be cordial. :ufdup:Women will always win when it comes to court or the system so the more you make them hate you the more your pockets will be :sadbron:

I recently found out some dudes are only paying $200/mo. That's ridiculously low, especially in a major city.

Have a child and believe anything less than $250 a week will take care of your child Brehs.

Unless you split custodial down the middle, children are expensive. It is what it is.

2016, I took my ex-wife to court for custody and lost. She went to jail three times during the court proceedings. Mind you, over driving without a license but I saved videos, text messages,, the whole nine. I'm the educated one with a stable profession, she was and still is living her second childhood. I had it in writing that I didn't want child support from her. Child services was involved in my ex's household. She had two more kids after our three. I know I'm not the only breh that fought for custody but short of the woman doing blow in front of the judge, it's damn near impossible to win.

In my case, I truly believe that given her situation, no job, SNAP and WIC for the kids, etc, that it became more than just my kids here, the judge unfortunately looked at everything and thought if they remove this child support from this household, everything is going down. Almost all the reasons that I went to court in the first place have come to fruition. Youngest daughter deals with trauma from her upbringing. Imagine on your weekend with your then 14 year old, her calling her mother to check on her and make sure she's OK? That's wild and sad to me. My twins, while financially taking care of themselves, are living lives that I didn't think they'd be living. Not bad lives but they both graduated high school early. Premed and law was the destination. They both dropped out of IUPUI here in Indiana. To the credit of one, she's back in college but man, a lot of shyt would be different had I won the case. Sigh
