Are people asking for too much now? I'm sorry but a $15 minimum wage is still too low...

Bunch of slow nikkas in this thread.. but but but ______ profession/job doesn't even make/pay that much :gucci:

That's EXACLY the fukking problem. That means ______ profession/job is also underpaying.

If you're working 40 hours a week in the richest country in the world(or any developed country), your basic needs should be met regardless of what you do for a living. This really isn't that hard.

Imagine needing burger flippers to start making $15/hr to realize that your employer is raping you.

I keep telling folks they can go back to school for free off the Pell Grant. It's a gang of 2 year degrees that bring in guap:wow:

I only make $17, but this is entry level and I ain't flippin burgers. Bout to go back to school next year so I can quadruple that. We hungry out here, I ain't tryna be poor my entire life:feedme:

At this point with inflation, the K shape future economic projection and automation it probably would be fair to make a national 15-17 universal minimum wage.

:dwillhuh:50k is around the average income in the US. Teachers don’t even make that much in states. Why should someone with no job skills have an above average income?

Biden got libs feeling themselves

:russ:

15hr is fine for now.

But anyway the common denominator in all these arguments is rent. Its way to high.

Owning a house or two in any major city makes you damn near a millionaire with rent as a good source of cash flow.

Minimum 50

Maximum 55

:russ:

They going to be replace by machines soon

You Can't Expect twitter nikkas to understand economics.

Nah, some poor folks are lazy breh I'm telling what I be seeing with my own eyes. Me and my dad was discussing this. I worked at Walmart for 3 years, then left after I got my degree. 3 years later I go there to pick up a few things And it's the same folks, like how are you complacent working a dead end job for 6 years?

You can't expect make a living flipping hamburgers, that job was always meant for teens since the 50s. You want more money get into a warehouse where they pay $22

Breh that shyt unheard of. If 50 dollars an hour was minimum wage. These hoes at spectrum cable would charge me 1k a month for internet...:mjlol:

Dont understand economics brehs

Those jobs are meant for teens, not adults. I dropped facts already how you can go to Community College for free or you can go trade school for free. There's also truck driving school and IT Certifications.

Folks just ain't hungry enough, I got my tired ass out of Walmart as soon as I could. Took me 3 years but I did it:whew:

Imagine blaming poor people for the wage stagnation over the past 40 years.

Dudes really been brainwashed into believing otherwise its crazy. America built the greatest economy in the world using the bolded as a premise but brehs on here will keep shouting about bootstraps and trickle down economics.

Understand that EVERYONE is being UNDERPAID so that a handful of individuals can add more yachts and island to their portfolios.

too many people operating on this idea that they will be guaranteed millionaires in the future. so they base their ideology on some shyt they don't even live.

also, can people stop thinking minimum wage is only about fast food? If it's supposed to be $22/hr, that's going to raise the pay of alot underpaid SKILLED workers who deserve it.

Have you ever wondered just how much money tech companies such as Google and Apple are making from each employee? Now we know.

PostBeyond crunched the data, surfacing the profits reported by Fortune 500 tech companies, then balancing those against how many employees they have.

Leading the per-employee earnings is Facebook: With nearly $16 billion in total profit last year, it made $634,694 per employee.

Apple is second on this list, profiting $48.3 billion last year, for an average per-employee earning of $393,097. Microsoft raked in $21.2 billion in 2018, which averages to $171,000 per employee.

That’s a fukked up part about it. I could see if it was half the worlds population benefiting from the inhumane exploitation of people but it’s really only a handful that reaps the fruits

I wouldn't know about everyone being underpaid, my company owners don't have yachts. They barely take vacations:yeshrug:

As long as you budget right and don't buy unnecessary things you won't be struggling. There's people that make $100,000 and they struggling.
