I think the general consensus on HOE is that Prodigy got better lyrically. It’s the album where he started dropping longer blackout verses. Nighttime Vultures. Hell On Earth second verse. Apostles Warning.i know for sure that the infamous is better than reasonable doubt but not hell on earth though. in my opinion
honestly at the time i was a little bit disappointed in hell on earth because i expected it to be the same quality as the infamous. and houdini p's lyrics weren't as sharp nor were hav's beats as crisp as the album prior. it took a while to grow on me, it was a lot darker & murkier. the joint that hit me hard though was get dealt with. goddamn thats one of the hardest joints ever.. oh and still shinin' definitely
As for Hav, he left the style from the Infamous behind, and crafted an even darker style without the assistance of Q Tip. The result was perhaps the best produced album in hip hop history. The Infamous is up there as well. Overall, I’m with you though. The Infamous was better. It’s a perfect album. Lightning in a bottle. A bottle of E&J. :prodigylol:
