This is why it's important to have good credit. It can greatly affect the amount on the car payment. My score was low at the time. Like low 500s and even with my dad co-signing it wasn't much help so my interest rate was like 5%. Have a friend who said his rate was like 15%. That's that 120 month plan. :scust:

And I wouldn't even consider these baller prices cuz it's not even baller cars. It's just the prices have gone up a lot this post decade I'd say. I drive a Honda accord. Article said average price was 32k. Which is basically the standard these days for cars like Hondas, Toyotas, Mazda, etc. Granted mine was fully loaded but even at that still has basic features compared to higher end cars. I can't imagine if I really wanted to ball and got a Benz, beemer, or Lexus. I see plenty of "ballers" on the road maybe paying much more than that $500. Wanting to show off their new car and bad driving skills. :francis:

Yup, I remember I was at the NY Auto Show back in March, and Mazda wanted like 37k for a fully equipped Mazda 6

I'm thinking about buying a used Audi... Anyone knows about if they're good or not?

You have made a bunch of statements, offered no supporting evidence, and answered none of my questions. Me thinks you're a pocket watching hater. :ohhh:

:francis: No point since you bought the car and convinced yourself it is a solid purchase.

See this very reasonable. Not to get too nosy, but what type of car is it?
Chevy impala

Insurance was 125 but I call every 6 months and finish them and I took a online safety driver course which reduced it by $10 per month.

My goal is to live well below my means.
I'm not materialistic. I just like to eat good food travel and I do collect video games

I don't get the whole idea of leasing >> financing. I can pay my car off and be done with it in 5yrs and only have to keep up maintenance.

Plus I stay in a big city, mileage + wear and tear would eat into those leasing fees.
