Well firstly it tells me you're liar because that hasn't been the case. Secondly the fact that some of my choices had to be added tells me that it's a genuine vote and I'm not a sheep picking people because the majority did, and also that that I have a broader taste and deeper knowledge of Hip Hop than some here, of course there are some very knowledgeable people here too, not talking about them, but it's also true there are some with a very limited and restricted knowledge that aren't really qualified because they haven't even heard enough Hip Hop albums that year broadly to judge. I don't see why you're so invested over this internet poll lol, like why don't you just pick who think instead of getting emotional over somebody else's choice? Odd. I'm just making my votes and and thinking what good releases there were then going about my business, I don't agree with many of your votes either but it's YOUR vote so entitled to vote who you want, so am I and will continue to do so.

oh for fukk sakes even canibus rip the jacker >>> krs one in 2003. Canibus was sharp with his lyrics especially on his poet laureate track. What KRS has done in 2003 that was exceptional?

Some of these nikkas are full of shyt. They didn't check for Section 8.0 till they heard Swimming Pools and decided to go back and check it out
:ohhh:
I feel like if you were following hip hop at the time you would have known he had the Dre cosign already. I heard the album in 2011 and I was already :flabbynsick:at the time so I feel like that means a lot :pachaha:

The best project/skills means something but so does fame and sales. They all fit into the equation. We're talking about who was the best that year in the majority of categories. Some of yall have a real hard time being objective
There's no rules to this shyt breh. If he wants to go purely based on album quality and pick an obscure album he can do it. If anything, that KRS album probably made more noise than K Rino in any year he was picked. :manny:

Dude its called MVP for a reason. KRS wasn't anywhere close to being most valuable in 03. GRODT was far from my favorite album in 03 but Im not a fool enough to think 50 wasn't the biggest rapper in the game. If we were voting strictly off fame and sales MC Hammer woulda won in a landslide in 1990
Was he the best though?

Bu bu but real hip-hip, sales and popularity don't matter it'z about MC skills :gladbron:
This ain't a popularity contest. And a lot of those sales are white kids in Idaho.
