I can't say because 1986-1992 was extremely special to me. Music and entertainment was just on a different level.

I know the 90's had hip-hop, but just think of what it must have been like to see Michael Jackson shut everything down.

Plus I'll say 1998 and 1999 started to fall off slightly.

I'll have to say late 80's to early 90's.

80's had the best movies.

90's hip hop is the peak of music in general, but 80's music overall is just amazing.

I really can't decide.

And yes, 90-94 was way better than 96-99 just off the music alone.

Life before the internet..

Since a child I've always been infatuated with the eighties. Since I was born in 86 I never had the chance to view the decade from a more introspective perception. If I were to choose I would have to say the eighties foremost because without the eighties... I wouldnt be alive

It's 2014 and people still have 80's party's... Hollywood is still ripping off all of the 80's movies with remakes... you have kids trying to dress like the 80's... you have a lot of musicians trying there best to make some music that sounds like some 80's shyt... ect.

People don't fantasize about the 90's the way they do about the 80's...

Why... because the 80's was "That Decade".

People love the '80s IRONICALLY, because it was such a ridiculous decade with awful hairstyles and clothes and retarded ass music and pop stars and shyt.

This is what people "reminisce" about in the '80s.

I don't care what your favorite decade is. There was NOTHING popular in the '90s ad ridiculous as this shyt.

Now, the '80s may have been more fun, which I also might dispute considering crack and gangbangin had violence rates at all-time highs and shyt and AIDS had EVERYBODY shook like a motherfukker. Ronald Reagan and George Bush were destroying all the shyt from the Civil Rights movements and helping the CIA flood the hood with crack.

The '90s was more of a "serious" decade. The music be it grunge or Hip-Hop was about real shyt and nikkaz wasn't trying to be all androgynous and all that bullshyt.

But it was better over all

Bill Clinton>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ronald Reagan

Nas, 2pac, Big, Wu-Tang, Outkast, Death Row>>>Run-DMC, Whodini, UTFO,

"The Simpsons"> "The Cosbys"

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Poison, Motley Crue, Ratt

Quentin Tarantino, "Goodfellas", Fight Club>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>"Teen Wolf" "Breakfast Club""Sixteen Candles"

Baggy jeans, jerseys, doo rags, bandanas>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>jheri curls, tight ass leather pants, and all that gay shyt nikkaz in the '80s used to wear and are wearing again in the 2000s ironically.

Plus, by the mid '90s crack died out, murder rates went down, and AIDS got under control.

Hell, I'd say that there's damn near nothing better about the '80s than the '90s OTHER than

Black Michael Jackson>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> White Michael Jackson

Yep... if the oldest you were in the 80's was 5 years old... you really can't speak on shyt about the 80's besides sitting in the crib watching cartoons.
Meh, I remember a lot of shyt about the '80s and I was a little kid. I guess it depends how aware you are.

There was less race mixing in the 80s so there was more ass in the Black community before diluting ourselves to oblivion was cool..these days Black women need to get ass implants and thats a disgrace.

Please, half the women y'all call "thick" are FAT and would've been considered FAT back then. Hell, Jackee was considered "thick" back then and half of y'all nikkaz would claim she aint got no ass today.

The 90's was IT. The realest era since the 80's and that's only cause it rode in right after. *salutes*

Everything sold out after '99 tho.

You kind of have to split it up because the late 90's were kind of wack. they start changing in 96. I don't even consider late 97-99 the 90's.

90-93 had a very unique feel. And late 93-early 96 had it's own feel. but 94 and 95 was better than everything.

For the 80's there's a big difference pre and post 85.

It's so funny to see this view on here. People here in the UK feel the exact same way, that the cool part of the 90's reached a zenith from 94-96 and then went into a terminal decline in 1997. Here it gets blamed on Oasis for releasing an underwhelming album in 1997 after owning the middle of the decade and having everyone feeling great about life in Britain during them mid 90's :bryan: must have been something in the water in 97
