Moe Dee is credible where MC mechanics are concerned considering he's regarded by many of his peers and the those who came immediately after, as one of the most technically sound emcees to spit. i could give a fcuk who he didnt battle. And if he was in the trenches with the Treacherous Three, NYC circa 1978--when I was just 4---then i think he has credibility where history is concerned. Moreso than you or me.

Nas studied Ra, was in the background of alot of studio time with the God, something that Nas has himself paid homage to.

Kinda funny that both havent collabed as heavy as they could but seems Ra was maybe a little "off" with Nas when Nas was coming up, Extra P spoke on this recently in a very good interview.

For me tho, better than, no, but Nas took his career to places Ra didnt (for different reasons) and in my humble opinion means just as much to hip hop.
