We, our youth, have ZERO interest of becoming archeologist one day... in general. How we do own physical research and not be reactionary.
You are pigeonholing the most genetically diverse region on Earth. You claim Egyptians, one nation in a very flung off corner of Northeast Africa, made up a significant part of the cultural habits and DNA of West Africa. West Africa is huge with multiple different tribes and clans. Ancient Egyptians (if we talking just the ethnicity and not the country which had a large minority of non Egyptians) were just one group. You saying that everyone from the Mende to the Yoruba have Egyptian blood?
In those very same paintings they seem to distinguish themselves from the Nubians(who were black).![]()
If the Egyptians were anything they were probably mixed, explained by the fact that they weren't only multicultural but also got conquered and ruled by several different civilizations (including Nubia).

maybe
I just find it hard to believe that senegambians, mandes, krus, krans, igbos, hausas and yurubas all came from the same ancient egypt.
most may not know where there people came from 4k years ago, but each of these cultures all have urban legends and myths that just don't align with ancient egytian culture, no matter how many bead necklace that are posted here.
I know for a fact that Mande ancestors were in southern Mauritania as early as 3000 bc in the Dhar Tichectt area.

So much hotep stupidity in this thread from a bunch of Americans who think they know more about Africa than Africans themselves
So much hotep stupidity in this thread from a bunch of Americans who think they know more about Africa than Africans themselves
So they separated themselves from the "dark" black peoplemy thing is,
the west is judging "blackness" based off 19th and 20th century racial models
no doubt through Ados and the transatlantic. And if modern aframs were to depict ourselves, we would be using the same skin color the Egyptians are using
the Nubians(nilolithic) are literally the darkest people on earth. Thats why they're depicted that way

Just cuz your dad owns two goats and a mud shack in Nigeria

With the exception of the Hausas, the groups that you've listed belong to a common family! You don't seem to understand that because you're coming from a tribalistic African mindset. A family has an origin somewhere, and the evidence does not in any way shape or form imply that this greater family originated outside of Eastern - Northeastern Africa. West Africa was uninhabitable until the second millennium BC. The monsoon rains that brought fertility to ancient Sahara during the early Holocene oversaturated tropical West Africa. to the point that there were only small islands of land there that the Pygmies inhabited.
Our history is such a serious topic, and I hate when people so uninformed on issues with such readily available sources make absolute statements as though you all know anything or have put forth effort to understanding. You clearly don't know ANYTHING about this topic, and you're going off of c00nish emotions. Black people who do are trying to find a bridge to kiss the ass of white people. White people hate Afrocentrism with a passion, and by taking shots at it these c00ns get a pat on the head (you're not like the other one's, you're "rational"). Every group that you've named has an origin story in the Nile Valley civilization. Not one of them claims to have originated in Western Africa.

Mande are an early break away group from the Niger-Congo family. that originated in Sudanese Nubia. This is supported by linguistics. This group dominated the Western Sahara rather than the Fezzan region of southern Libya and the Egyptian Western Desert that most of Nile Valley migrates came to during the early Holocene. The Mande script is just as old as Medu Neter's official recognition around 3.000 BC. They were the only Niger-Congo group to have migrated West towards the Western Sahara/Atlantic Ocean when the Sahara turned back into desert, This migration was not an "Afro-Asiatic migration" since there is no "Afro-Asiatic" language family.

Explained here
but the rest of the family went back to the East on Nile River to form dynastic civilization.
Dhar Tichett in southern Mauritania dates back 2000BC. it wasn't anything fancy it was said to be the first urban settlement in west africa.Another point for Egypt being an outgrowth of a broader African civilization, when you research archaeological finds in west Africa, you don't get much before the 1st millennium bc. So where was everybody before that?
Im still looking though, if anybody wants to point me in the right direction.
Id also like to highlight that none of the deniers have addressed me or my points.
because It makes no sense first it was Jews, then it was the moors, now it’s the Egyptians. Which one is it because understand you CAN NOT be all 3. It’s absolutely not possible
