Right. The last 2 mainline pokemon releases and Metroid Prime 4 showed that’s not really the casedudes act like Nintendo can just rubber stamp a 95 metactitic Zelda/Mario game
Stop it. You retarded.
Most consumers don’t behave like you.
Just for anyone reading, when Meach says "nothing" he means Pokemon Violet and Scarlet... which released in 2022 during the holiday season.

The switch was my first Nintendo console since the og Nintendo I only bought it because of botw
Bought my daughter one too she is cool with her oled switch doesn’t care for switch 2

Yeah. I'm holding out for the OLED version that I know is coming next year. But if it was a hundred cheaper I probably would have copped it off of an impulse buy. But the current price point has given me time to pause and not just buy new tech off rip like I usually do. It was the same with the PSVR 2.Switch 2 is also out of impulse buy territory. You could find sales on switch 1 for $249/299 with a game.
Almost 500 dollars before even getting a game is a lot, especially for a kid to walk around with. I know a lot of families that had multiple switch’s laying around the house in different colors and editions.
Now i don’t see a household having more than one. I’m also one of those people that doesn’t ever see himself paying over 300 dollars for a handheld so…![]()

The Zelda boost happened in Q2—hardware sales jumped 13.9% the quarter it launched. The full-year numbers were down because the holiday quarter dropped 58% year-over-year, which Nintendo said was expected for a console in year 7. You're trying to erase a 3.91 million unit quarter because it doesn't fit your stan narrative. In november. You think that 1 month is what made the switch sell more for the entire year
