People saying he is the best center are just as wrong as people who were saying those things about kevin love. The difference is there's only a few people saying this about cousins whereas kevin love was being lauded as the best pf in the league and a top 5 player by poster/people/the media.

No one ever viewed Kevin Love as a top 5 overall player. Maybe a top 5 PF.

This is the same organization that drafted nik stauskas who currently comes off the bench and just recently showed some type of worth to the organization all thanks to a slip up on TV, drafted jimmer over klay thompson, drafted T-rob then traded. They fired Malone, who isn't a Brad Stevens, but got the team in a decent direction, and most importantly controlled Cousins. Its a shytty organization, not cousins fault

I've watched Demarcus a lot, there are nights where he is simply unguardable, but of course since there isn't much help around, you'd constantly see 2-3 guys come over and jump all over him, mostly resulting in a non foul, a miss/turnover with Cousins slowing walking to the other end of the court as he complains to the refs. Boogie doesn't get calls

He's a big man, they are supposed to impact the game, we can talk about the organization all day, but that doesn't explain his inability to defend. If he were half as good of a defensive player as he is an offensive player they'd be at least a .500 team, we're talking about a supposedly "beast" of a center that always has his team 20 games under .500. Impact is easy to see, look at how Davis impacts the game, and his team isn't very good when you really look at it.

How is he any different from Vuccimane at this point? If Vucci had a usage rate as high as Cousins he'd probably post the same numbers and you'd get the same results which is no defense and Ls. This is the same shyt Love did, big numbers, tons of losses and no defense.

You ask what great big needs a frontcourt partner to reach their potential? I dont know about reach thier potential but plenty of bigs benefit from having a really good complimentary frontcourt piece around him.

Even this season weve seen anthony davis make great progress with the Pels putting asik in the starting backcourt next to him.

Youve been spoiled by duncan

The Rockets improved by 15 games in Yao's rookie season, and Davis is going to be great defensively regardless of who is next to him, getting Asik is just to sure Brow doesn't take a beating from guys who are much bigger than him (260-290lbers) since he has no business playing C.

I haven't been spoiled by Duncan, truly great bigs impact games, guys like Cousins fall into the Al Jefferson camp.

Put Boogie on the Cavs in place of Love and they are winning the title guaranteed. The boy is the best center in the league and if you put capable players around him I think he could lead a team to some type of postseason success. Him with a pure point like Wall or Paul would be a sight to see cause he's never had a pure point who knows how to get a big man the ball in his best scoring spots.

Boogie as the 3rd option, yeah that would really go over well nevermind the spacing issues since it seems like LeBron cannot play with a center that needs the ball.

Great centers helped their teams win games, even when the talent around them wasn't that good.

Great big men didn't NEED frontcourt mates to at least make it to .500, Boogie NEEDS a defensive PF for his teams to win games. This is yet another season 15+ games under .500, how this dude escaping from criticism is just It ain't like the Kings are coming close to the playoffs and missing by a game or two, they are consistently a 24-28 win team.

no bruh dont lie...this time last year people were calling love a top 8 player in the league...come on now the dude missed 4 games last year and was 4th in scoring and 3rd in boards, and shooting 38% from 3pt...Which is better than 95% of the guards in the league and don't forget he is 6'10 doing all of this.

The Kings were winning earlier in the season, but of course dealt with Cousins' injury and throughout the season they've dealt with Rudy Gay's injury and Darren Collison has been gone forever it seems, that's their main core

then of course they had to deal with the coaching changes throughout the season, i think the kings described their interim coach as a substitute teacher, and it looked like it

it's not cousins fault, and his defense isnt as much as a liability as you think, and yeah i did see that vine clip of him not doing anything on defense

vuccimane is very underrated, i dont know if youre making it like thats a bad thing, hes one of the top young bigs to me

They dont hold onto coaches, players, coaches staffs, hell they even ship out lottery picks before they even had a half a season with the organization.
