“Whatever Happens” is like #3 after “Break of Dawn” and “Heaven Can Wait”.

I love Butterflies too, but Break of Dawn is superior. I don’t care if the latter wasn’t as popular of a song as the former. I’ll even go and say that “Heaven Can Wait” is superior to “Butterflies” as well. But you can’t go wrong with either of the 3.

We going to have to agree to disagree on this Michaels falsetto was legendary on this track.

Thats the order i have those particular tracks in as well. Break of Dawn from the vocals, arrangement, writing, on down to production is just master craft. The thing is Mike probably has a huge stash of tracks like those 3 in the vault too:wow:.

With that said my fav track on the album is probably the joint with Santana, cut is too cold, still:whew:.

:camby: the record label for not promoting the album, some of Mikes best work was wasted.

Song didnt get a chance to catch fire due to the label shenanigans, its a damn shame the album is relegated to cult classic status even though it went plat:wow:

Or is it because i told the truth about dangelo's lackluster career vs King Kells

Butterflies is the best cut on that album, he was gliding on that joint. Break of Dawn & Heaven Can Wait are both undeniable too. I wouldn't say it was his best album but some of the songs on there can match the Thriller/Dangerous/Off The Wall era
