“Break of Dawn” is one of MJ’s best songs Pound for Pound

There is a completely different version of the Invincible album from 1999.

MJ's work after Bad gets really overlooked to me. I think he matured a lot as a composer/writer.

Underrated post/facts
Butterflies is the best cut on that album, he was gliding on that joint. Break of Dawn & Heaven Can Wait are both undeniable too. I wouldn't say it was his best album but some of the songs on there can match the Thriller/Dangerous/Off The Wall era

Best overall assessment so far

Also. Sidebar. Does anybody listen to Heaven Can Wait and feel that Ginuwine couldve done that song as well? Like it fits his style really well.

:ehh:nice catch, he could have, wouldnt have the same feel as Mikes vocals/be as good imo.

On the flip I actually i feel a lot of Timbo's production from that era and Neptunes production would have been better served in Mike's hands, those beats were tailor made for him.

Word I'm not saying it would've sounded better. But I def think it would've been dope.

Supposedly, a few of the songs on JT’s Justified were meant for MJ. :mjcry:

I've said before that MJ doesn't have a bad album, but that some of his albums are just better than his others.

Damn. I never knew this. :mjcry::mjcry:

Yea Pharrell spoke on it long time ago. He said him and Chad submitted beats to Mike's team and was told that those were in a sense outdated for Mike's taste. A couple years later he ran into Mike and told him and Mike was shocked that they did them like that
