Beyonce is the modern GOAT for the trap music era. Other than that, hell naw, she's not even in the conversation. Beyonce is relatively the GOAT, still the GOAT, but it depends on who you're comparing her to.

Anybody who thinks she's anywhere near his or the other acts Im posted as a live performer is either extremely ignorant of music history or a blithering dumbass.
Nostalgia is making you an idiot, whoever the best is will be someone's opinion, saying she doesn't belong with the greats when it comes to performing it's just having old school bias.
I think she sings better than him and is a great dancer (not a better dancer but she can dance). And her ability to do it all at the same time without skipping a beat and being out of breath is amazing too. Her stamina is out of this world. I think she’s in amazing shape especially after having 3 children and she hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. I respect MJ performance wise and think he’s a great performer, but I feel like his stage show has gotten worse over time and he began lipping his performances too. Bey is in her 30s and she’s still doing her thing in every department and it’s like she’s getting better every time.
But even after saying all of this, people will still get into their feelings and not have an agreed to disagree conversation. So with that said, I’m out.
It's not nostalgia, it's merely an appreciation of the all-time greats. Beyonce is not on their level, she has done nothing that ha transcended live performance or pushed it forward.
All of the all-time greats from the past are better than everybody out there today, Beyonce included.
She is def one of the best performers ever. Have my issues with her music but have no problem with a black woman being hyped as the goat. Better than some overrated cacette.

See, this is where it gets complex. Just reading this thread is hilarious.
The sheer and utter delusion when it comes to Beyonce’s Beyhive is what makes people so overly critical of her and I don’t think her fans realize it.
Bey is dope. The best female entertainer of this era. No question. But when people start trying to equate her to MJ and Prince and people like that, it just creates a situation for her to get dragged.
Bey doesn’t need to be compared to them. She can be great on her own merits. And I wish her stans realized this instead of doing the fukkin most all the time.
Nah. Even as a child, MJ could effortlessly belt, access head voice and high tenor vocals in perfect pitch, while dancing at the same time. In his prime, he was a different animal than anybody else in history in that department. And all other acts I named, with the exception of Whiney, Janet, and Springsteen could do that as well.
Beyonce may be the best at doing that in this era, but that's not saying much as this is the WOAT era of live performance.
Tina Turner has four children and could maintain performance at a high level well into her 50s and 60s.
This is partially true. He indeed began emphasizing more on dance than live vocals in many of his '90s performances, but that was usually on songs that contained dance numbers so physically taxing that it was literally impossible to sing it well at the same time. Even so, his dancing alone is better than anything she's brought to the stage in her career from what I've seen, and I've seen a lot from her.

Beyonce's song catalog isn't all that great either. Even her mega hits. "Partition" c'mon now. "Single Ladies" you mean to tell me in 25 years these songs will still be relevant? "Irreplacable" ?
This era is garbage. She's just at the top of the garbage heap.
