Let’s focus on skill and technique and not anything else. By the time MJ was her age, he was lipping his performances and stopped singing live. He kinda recycled the same dance moves and his choreography wasn’t as fluid as before. Tbh I believe he was in his prime during The Bad era. Bey has been in the industry for 20+ years and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. She’s in the best shape of her life after having twins as well, and is coming off of arguably her best performance of her career. If Bey was a male, this conversation wouldn’t be as heated as it is, and people wouldn’t have a problem with calling her the goat.. but because she’s female, it’s a controversial.

Bey lips alot and she re yokes the sane choreo. She keeps it fresh by adding in remixes, different transitions and costumes but most of that choreo was the same outside of the stepping parts

Both of their Super Bowl performances side by side. I believe MJ was in his 30s during that period, while Bey was and still is in hers. If Bey lipped that Super Bowl Performance like MJ did, the backlash she’d recieve would be endless.

MJs Super Bowl was the first of it’s kind. It’s been perfected since then. I’m sure he was asking to lip just like the national anthem is lipped. Bey lips most of her uptempos

I have not seen one post breaking down MJ’s skill and technique and why they feel Bey isn’t a worthy successor.. I’m just tired now and going back and forth isn’t worth it. Everyone will have their opinions but I just feel like no one is really telling why MJ is the greatest and most talented stage performer of our time.

You guys haven’t made the case for Bey either.
Overall it’s subjective and it’s about how an artist makes you feel.

nina her stage show was in her live instrumentation (she was a musical beast on the piano) + signing but she was not a physical perfomer

The greatest total package for black female acts prior to beyonce was Tina Turner and then janet jackson. beyonce has better vocals than both of them
