lol no, I've never seriously dated a white guy and I don't exclusively date out of my race. My ex is black and my first bf was biracial. My dad hates it, he thinks I should only date black men, my mom doesn't care as long as he's good to me. The rest of my family doesn't really care either.

and no, most people out here are used to interracial couples so it's not a big deal.

You say you've been getting drunk but that it's only making you feel worse so I would refrain from all that honestly. It'll take time to move on from it, you just have to be willing to make the choice to start moving in that direction.

After the initial pain eventually my logic kicks in and the whole thing gets tossed into the "oh well" pile. Can't stay stressed and meditating on what's never going to happen.

Can you tell us a little more about the rejection? I've never really been rejected by a guy b/c I only pick from those who I already know are interested in me most of the time, so idk.

If I liked a guy and didn't know if he liked me, I would ask him out and flirt in a joking/less serious way so he won't know if I'm serious or, b/c I need to know if they want me or not first so I don't rejected directly lol. & if I did get rejected, I'd try to make that into something lighthearted as well. I'm not 100% sure about though b/c like I said, I've never really been rejected.
