City's are known for estimating bills based on averages in the neighborhood & not sending out bills for years then hitting you with a 6k bill out of nowhere. I didn't see my bill one time & tried for 2 days to get someone on the phone , both times I spent 4 hours combined to get a hold of someone & got how much my bill was then quickly paid the biaaatch so I wouldn't get late feesI read a comment that said they turnoff the water if the bill ain't paid.
Now that has me thinking, why didn't they just turn the water off?
Also I've read about this scenario a few times. House is paid off, owner is supposedly behind on some bill, owner has never received bill, bank makes claims that owner was sent notice several times, bank then takes house....
Like nikkahs can't all your cell number? Can't send an email? Can't call your employer?

Dude needs to get an attorney to resolve the issue with the county treasurerHorrific, I would refuse to leave.
He got the bread obviously, just figure out the numbers.
I meant you shouldn't be able to take a house over that petty change in comparisonyeah, I wonder how it got so high. my water/sewer/garbage bill is billed bi-monthly and it's never over $50. so that's like $300 total per year.
I think that’s illegal to do if i’m not mistaken.I read a comment that said they turnoff the water if the bill ain't paid.
