I read a comment that said they turnoff the water if the bill ain't paid.

Now that has me thinking, why didn't they just turn the water off?:jbhmm:

Also I've read about this scenario a few times. House is paid off, owner is supposedly behind on some bill, owner has never received bill, bank makes claims that owner was sent notice several times, bank then takes house....

Like nikkahs can't all your cell number? Can't send an email? Can't call your employer?
City's are known for estimating bills based on averages in the neighborhood & not sending out bills for years then hitting you with a 6k bill out of nowhere. I didn't see my bill one time & tried for 2 days to get someone on the phone , both times I spent 4 hours combined to get a hold of someone & got how much my bill was then quickly paid the biaaatch so I wouldn't get late fees

I meant you shouldn't be able to take a house over that petty change in comparison
The county will take your car for unpaid tickets & they will take your home for unpaid code violations & property taxes dude . You can't owe the government . Don't pay the eye are es & see how it plays out for you . Ask Wesley snipes

I can almost guarantee he knew about it.

whats he supposed to say now?
"yeah I knew but I didnt want to pay it".

this type of stuff isnt that uncommon...
I used to work in an insurance agency and would use city records when trying to find someone.
Tons of homes with liens because the house is a mess, unpaid taxes, utility bills etc...

The house is never yours like that...
the city/state own it the moment you fukk up

big government is good though right yall?
