I doubt Dwight retires. He probably gets healthy and doesn't play this season since its a lottery year. He'll opt into his contract.

And its inexcusable that they didn't have Wall see a specialist in early November when this heel injury was revealed. It's probably really bad and explains why he can't jump high right now and isn't moving his feet on defense.

And yeah, its obvious Otto can't stand Brooks cause he runs no plays. Otto thrives in a system of ball movement. But he's a nice guy with class and doesn't say anything while this team is in turmoil.

Wizards should’ve tanked last year. But it makes more sense to do it this year. If they get Zion they’ll be fine. Him and Wall have a relationship already so that helps. They should get Billups as the GM and Sam Cassell as the HC. Two guys they’ll have a lot of respect for. Ted too nice to the current front office.

My list of GMs right now

1. Mike Zarren, Celtics - He's a Cs fan but I'd still try to get him. He's learned asset management from Ainge. He's smart, analytical, and would be a breath of fresh air.
2. Troy Weaver, Thunder - He's been with Sam Presti for a decade. Is a DC Area native. Knows what to expect in the draft. Would be another upgrade.
3. Gersson Rosas, Rockets - He's their Executive VP of Basketball Operations and been in HOU for 17 years. Flirted with other GM jobs.
4. Danny Ferry, Pelicans - Not my first choice but he's better than Ernie. He's also a DC Area native. He was with the Spurs, then Cavs during LeBron's first stint there, then back to the Spurs, then the Hawks, then he had the Luol Deng incident, then got bought out. He has rings with the Spurs as a player and front office member. He's not known as a good drafter. Now he's an advisor to the Pelicans front office. Also, his father Bob was the Bullets GM from 1973-1990 so there's more championship pedigree.

Hopefully ya'll give more effort with more Ls

They’ll let Beal get the All Star nod and maybe shut him down. People think he’ll be traded at the deadline though. I really don’t think Otto gets traded for the simple fact when his deal his up he’ll most like resign on discount. Same with John Wall.

Can you imagine Ted green lighting a trade of Brad before the All Star Game? Ernie would definitely suffer a huge backlash in even more volume by season ticket holders that are still there.

Teams want Otto and Brad. But Leonsis has a lazy ass GM who will get fleeced

Beal was supposedly gone. They need to wait till the summer. Been hearing too John Wall had this foot issue since the Celtics series too. Basically pulled a Otto and signed a deal while injured. Otto may have to eventually tend to his hip too.

It'd be #SoWizards if they suddenly pulled it together and went on a mini-run following the Wall news. Fool's gold if they somehow did. Perpetual treadmill.

It’s very rough schedule after this game. Brooks can’t run Beal into the ground with heavy minutes during it.
