If they don't get Melo, I don't care what they do.

After the disappointing ECFs 3 years ago, and these past 2 Rose-less seasons I'm drained as a Bulls fan. Can't even get optimistic for this team anymore. I was looking forward to this season and Rose's return and look what happened. From now on I can't even get hype for team with Rose on it because I have no idea how many games he's going to play



If we were a lottery team with a top 6-7 pick like we should have been my outlook would be much brighter than it is right now though.

man all bulls fans that's been riding it out for the past 2 complete seasons are drained as fans. I'm really just hoping we can catch a break in free agency, and drose can finally catch a break health wise.

the new trainer seems the bulls got this season to be doing her job as we have been relatively injury free outside of the rose freak accident and jimmy missing a few games in december.

When we didn't tank it became all about melo

Grabbing a couple guys like Lowry pau maybe lance Stephenson once again makes us reg season champs good enough to lose to Miami every year.

If we don't get melo I'd rather just fall back another year and take our shot at love or take the next couple years and go young and hope that core can go all the way when the window gets open for another champion a few years down the line.

Lowry lance etc are not good enough to elevate there games to the point to get past Miami and whoever coming out west

Melo is. It's him or bust for me.

Should have tanked and then we would have more flexibility to get to contender. A lottery pick plus taj likely would have landed us Kevin love. That option out the door now. So it's melo or back to reg season champs.

lance is a loose cannon, but lowry been ballin out all season including the playoffs and is a legit shot creator/ballhandler.

then again, his #'s are waaaayyyy up (and so are his minutes), and u gotta wonder if that has anything to do with him being an UFA this offseason.

But can you really see Lowry as a guy who can turn up to the point to get us past Miami? I don't

However I can def see melo going ham to a point to get us past them. If melo doesn't come then Lowry could be a good back up plan but then you lock us into a contract that keeps us out the love sweepstakes. I'm not willing to do that. Rather just let rose come back re sign dj with a opt out in his 2nd year grab Elton brand maybe Ben Gordon on the bench with the bae again with a 2nd yr opt out so we can make a great pitch at love.

You're setting yourselves up for failure if you put ALL your eggs in the melo basket.There will be options to upgrade the roster and get other offensive players.

If they don't get melo the bulls will still upgrade the roster and add offense and depth this summer.I'm just saying Don't put all your hopes on melo bouncing and if he resigns wit the knicks saying you don't care what they do is setting yourself up for a major disappointment.Bulls will make moves and not their usual wakk conservative moves

I hope ur right. hell, might as make a pitch to minnesota as well this summer. they know they ain't gonna be able to keep love, so they better strike while the iron's hot.

And I really don't think Melo is coming to Chicago because of this FO's history with big name guys. I've already come to peace with them acquiring somebody like Stephenson, bringing over Mirotic and hopefully hitting on their 2 1sts that they have in the top 20.

I have no reason to believe they won't make the same conservative p*ssy moves that they have been making since Rose/Thibs got here.

And honestly... with all of the shyt that's been coming out about Stephenson and the expected increase in the salary cap next year, the Bulls probably won't even make a run at him anyway. It's not the end of world if they don't, but I'm just saying

just for a year breh its to remain financially flexible to go after love

rather that then sign long term contracts with players who are not good enough to get us to a championship which lance are lowry are. only thing we getting by signing them long term is by year 3 of they deals us once again on here talking trades and clearing they contracts off our books because them with this core was not good enough to win it all. we got to get a superstar here brehs. might mean another year of mediocrity so we can go after love but I rather that then use all the cap space on a roster not good enough to get it done.
