I said English classes and not the major :dwillhuh:

Some people don’t even think basic English classes are even needed when the majority of people can’t even do the basics when it comes to grammar.
And my post was about the major (field)

U have to take English regardless

That’s the way I got through a couple of classes besides outright cheating due to online courses I have no educational Integrity I just wanted promotions at work and never had any intent on really using the degree.
Was it all Gen Eds? When it's classes that has nothing to do with your major, you'll just do the bare minimum to get by

:russ: I have a B.S. in Human Resources with a minor in Businesses Management. I clep tested most Gen Ed’s, had military credits converted for some Gen Eds and electives and received credit based on work experience for some core classes.

I Only took a handful of real proctored exams otherwise just had peers sign the sheet or go to the education center. This was over the course of 8 years. :yeshrug:. All online or on post.

I don't know how y'all STEM cats do it. I failed or dropped Elementary Algebra three times and only passed the fourth cause of the pandemic making exams open book. As much as people might say that this is an useless degree, I'm glad that I'm a Public Relations major cause basic STEM classes severely kicked my ass.

I'm currently studying for my MBA. First time in a classroom in 13 years. My dumbass had the bright idea to take statistics as my first class.

That shyt almost got me out the paint in my first quarter...straight flunked the midterm. Fortunately the final was a paper with statistical analysis integrated in it. I was able to talk around so much of the bullshyt I didn't know.

fukk a p-value and a regression analysis.

Omg....I remember HATING statistics.

It's one of those subjects that "sounds" great because of what we THINK we know about stats.

Our professor had some background working for the government. Stats reminds me of accounting in that the most challenging part is the language. Accounting is the language of business and stats feels like the language of numbers. You need a gifted professor to get all that shyt to make sense.

My prof was really intelligent but being smart and being able to teach people what you know are very different skill sets.

A lot of those classes are frowned up on by The Coli who complain saying that they aren't needed out here in life. It's the same people out here complaining about data and concepts without trying to understand where the information actually came from.

Case in point: Coli brehs who complain about data and analytics in sports without trying to understand the context behind it.
so you encourage people to look into data and analytics

but are anti vax :skip:

my guy, you are going through what we call an identity crisis

you cant in 1 post say "LOOK AT THE DATA AND ANALYTICS" :damn:

then in next post quote a bunch of conspiracy theorists on why you shouldnt take a vaccine, which THROUGH DATA AND ANALYTICS show that its mostly effective

very weirdo shyt man .

Yeah, I took it because I was able to bypass the gmat/gre because of my experience, the tradeoff was I had to take that or accounting within my first year. Thinking I'll get the bullshyt out the way first, let me just knock it out and be done with it.

Maaaan, the amount of days I stayed up until 2 am after working a full day at work was ridiculous.

Cuz someone explain what’s so hard about organic chemistry?

I did some of it in high school and it didn’t seem too difficult.

Calc was hard but fluid dynamics was the worst shyt ever.

If you got a handle on Calc, FD isn't too tough. If not for working with plumbers and being able to visualize what 'should' happen, I'd have probably needed a LOT more help.

Sounds like every other US school, except they letting grades stand
I remember taking Physics I and the average was curved to a 44 out of 100:mjlol:
Like most other things in this country the educational system is broken from the top down
Any time I seen an Asian chick with a roller backpack I already knew the curve was go be fukked up. I got smart and started befriending them and shyt got a lot easier.

Can't just blame the students....some of these school have some of the most shyttiest professors and I think it's because they don't pay well. So someone that's an expert in let's say mathematics is gonna go in the private sector and make $$$ instead of dealing with all the politics that come with education. I've had some really shytty professors that made hard classes even harder...and I've had very good professors who made hard classes much more palatable. I feel like some educational institutions have the same issue a lot of healthcare institutions have...they don't see the patient/student as a customer. I'm not really a student of a university I'm a customer and if the institution is having an issue servicing its customers then they need to see what about its programs is not getting the job done.
