How can that many kids fail? Isn't their a curve?

Many kids getting into college can't bullshyt the way they did in high school. They also don't realize that most of the learning doesn't take place in the classroom.

When I first went to college, I had the same shytty habits and kept getting poor grades. I ended up dropping out and working full time for a few years. When I came back to school my mentality changed and I read and practiced sections BEFORE lecture.

Can't just blame the students....some of these school have some of the most shyttiest professors and I think it's because they don't pay well. So someone that's an expert in let's say mathematics is gonna go in the private sector and make $$$ instead of dealing with all the politics that come with education. I've had some really shytty professors that made hard classes even harder...and I've had very good professors who made hard classes much more palatable. I feel like some educational institutions have the same issue a lot of healthcare institutions have...they don't see the patient/student as a customer. I'm not really a student of a university I'm a customer and if the institution is having an issue servicing its customers then they need to see what about its programs is not getting the job done.

I agree with you. My Chemistry class was an Indian woman but I already knew I wasn't going to learn anything in class. I had to go to tutoring to actually learn the material.

you cant in 1 post say "LOOK AT THE DATA AND ANALYTICS" :damn:

I understand the shytty habits, but like, chemistry class, whole class was getting like 20% on exams, but because of the curve, passing was around 13/14%

i graduated from a UC with a damn near perfect GPA cant speak on CSUs

:manny:
I graduated from a CSU and honestly it’s what you make it. A lot of people just didn’t have the work ethic, but if we keeping it 3000, the real problem is that there’s a class divide. CSU’s tend to service more typical working and lower middle class students where as UC’s tend to have more upper middle class to well off students, if we keeping it a buck. A lot of my classmates at CSU’s were legit working full time, sometimes two jobs, to support kids and their family. A lot of students were commuters that literally had another life out side of school. Almost no one ever read the required material or studied before class.

What in the fukk are you taking him for :mjlol:

You’re a man right? Fight your own arguments and battles without having to tag in other posters :laff:

I could care less about what he has to say.

It's okay to be shook when my name is mentioned, just don't display it so openly breh, it makes you look weak. :pachaha:

I rarely interact with you or the breh who tagged you anyways, so I have no clue why he tagged you in the first place :mjlol:

He’s an adult likely older than I am who can fight his own battles and arguments.

Challenging course material, ineffective teaching and unprepared or overwhelmed students contribute to the rise in high failure/withdrawal rates, experts say.

I mean this is clearly the center of everything.

A lot of students aren't being well-prepared by their high school experience, and a lot of college professors can't teach for shyt. And therein lie the problems.

Because you argue him every thread and i think youre a weirdo :manny:

I rarely even interact with the dude like that :laff:

You would have been better off tagging @neotheflyingone as that nikka is always whining or crying to me about something I said. I did you the solid and tagged him in since you obviously can’t fight your own battles alone as a man should.
