Realistically, I think they will make it hard for you to do anything mechanically to the car. Like exotic cars and teslas, you have to go to the dealership for damn near everything. Regular mechanics won’t be able to fix it, if they do the warranty will be automatically voided, and parts will be impossible to get other than the dealership.

My truck was a 96 and I put in a heated seat element from a junkyard wrecked Volvo back in 2006 when that was new technology. Wired it to a switch and tapped into the cigarette lighter fuse for power
