Are you implying that more points per game means someone is a better player than the other?

When someone averages 25 ppg for for a decade and is on pace to score 30,000 points (which is the objective of basketball) YES

Melo is one of the most dynamic and unique scorers in NBA history. Just cause he has a shyt attitude and is completely washed now doesn't mean he wasn't a dominant player in his prime. He wasn't no slouch ever.

Carmelo's advantages were points off volume.
Manu's advantages were...everything else about basketball.
