Financially it may have been a good move. But more than likely he a power tripping fukking nut talking about "I promised myself I wouldn't cry" while :unimpressed:. "900 people gotta hit the bricks....its yall :unimpressed:"

Maintaining that shareholder value strikes again

no doubt.

But is the CEO firing the MOST productive 15% or the least?

Bring value
Know what you bring to the table
Know where you stand next to your coworkers as far as productivity goes.

nyggas think working at home is a paid vacation :mjlol:

“But but but Christmas” . Shoulda thought about that before you let your numbers slip.

Why anyone thinks (ESPECIALLY in America) that a corporation loves you, is beyond me :wow:

I dont know what better.com does or sells. So I can't judge productivity. I'm sure a lot of people's jobs were getting done at the office in 2 hours and they were getting paid the full 8. The difference is they were not monitoring people's every activity 24/7 in the office.

With the remote move they take notice and don't assume that ok the work is still getting done they concerned about oh you not working 6 hours of the day.

Companies focused on the wrong metrics in some ways and some people in the pack just felt they were owed a free ride.

It is what it is, the most vocal about this will probably be the least productive lol.

At the end of the day he probably an egomaniac who needed to keep secure a bonus for himself and management by doing this. He came off like a sociopath but in some ways you need to be to run a multimillion dollar corporation

Corporate America is a dangerous place lol

Corporate America needs to burn. With these CEOs getting beheaded or ran over by cars.

When Covid hit, a lot of folks got laid off from a large oil company I used to work for (me included). My boss actually cried when she was telling us. That shyt really rubbed me the wrong way. What are you crying for, you still have a job? :hhh:

If you’re gonna cry when you have to let people go, maybe you don’t have what it takes to be a boss :francis:
When I got furloughed last year, our boss called us into the conference room individually to tell us. She invited some brand new nurse manager who had nothing to do with my department to the meeting. Going into the meeting I knew what was coming, so I wasn't even sweating it or upset...but when my boss at the time started talking all solemnly about it, for some reason it pissed me off. She was just trying to match the gravity of the situation, but for some reason it really angered me. The nurse manager tried to chime in and I ignored her.

These companies can fire you whenever for whatever and doesn't have to give you a warning, but let you quit without giving that 2 week notice :hhh:

Glad I never took part in this rat race cooperate cesspool :wow:
I'd completely eliminate "AT WILL" termination in America. All jobs would have to have a violation system (if not already in place, most places already have one but are still "at will") and would need to give a 2 week termination period. If you refuse it, your unemployment kicks in immediately and you stop working immediately. If you want to work the last 2 weeks, you will be monitored by staff to make sure there is no sabotaging going on. If there is purposeful sabotaging, this can cause criminal charges :yeshrug:.

Would work great for both parties :ehh:

Pretty much. But most jobs aren't unionized. I got fired from Chrysler and the Union had to fight for me, in which I got my job back a few months later. But it was still an "at will" termination at the time. A nikka swung on me and I beat the shyt out of him, in front of the shift supervisor. They wanted my ass for that :mjlol:. I didn't stop beating his ass when he fell. I guess I was supposed to stop because supervisors were around. I told them I didn't see anybody, i locked in on the nikka that swung on me and I lost control. I stomped him 3-5 times. They ONLY wanted to fire me because I stomped on dawg :snoop:, not because of the actual fight.

Bro who swung on me got his job back too, and sooner than me :mjpls:

I've never seen so many so-called Black people cape for rich elites before. That's normally something CACS do.

At this point I think half the board is non Black. Most of these threads on here reeks of :mjpls: lately and I’m not even the only one noticing it.

Dude actually admitted to being on Blind.com all day arguing with employees. What kind of CEO worth Billions of dollars is on apps like Blind arguing with employees all day?

What is blind.com?
Teamblind.com is a website where you can anonymously post about your company. It requires a company email to post in order to ensure you work for the company you claim.

Most people use it to discuss salary and compensation for jobs. If you want to know if a company is screwing you on a job offer. Or if the company culture is toxic it's one of the best places to post.

The CEO of Better.com who laid all those people off. Got exposed for posting on Blind.com and pretending to be a rank and file employee. In order to defend the company. Ever since employees got one of his Executives fired.

No wonder the company is struggling if the damn CEO is posting on a message board all day. Because he doesn't like what employees have to say about the company.
