Exactly. That’s a tough sell, I’m in talent acquisition and I’m sure their recruiters are being laughed at for anyone they try to attract.
Employees are already leaving this sinking ship. Any IPO plans will be pushed back indefinitely and unless the CEO apologizes soon the Board will probably look to force him out.

This idiot is messing with even richer people's money. They won't lose their investment over this tool. He'll quietly step down and be given a nice severance package to disappear.

Better.com continues to find new ways to make itself look bad.

This week, sources familiar with internal happenings within the company told TechCrunch the company’s VP of communications, Patrick Lenihan; head of public relations, Tanya Gillogley; and head of marketing, Melanie Hahn, have all submitted their resignations. Insider also reported the news earlier today.

The fallout of the way CEO and co-founder Vishal Garg handled the layoffs of about 900 people, as first reported by TechCrunch, has been widespread, including criticisms of it being handled over Zoom, to charges of insincerity on Garg’s part. Memes about the video have even landed on TikTok as people all over the world trashed Garg’s actions.

They need to release that 2nd video of that CEO threatening the remaining employees. And get him completely out of the paint. Maybe it will give other punk ass Executives pause before ending up on that Summer Jam Screen.

A leaked video shows Better CEO Vishal Garg explaining laying off hundreds of people before the holidays: 'We should have done this three months ago'

On Wednesday afternoon, shortly after the online-mortgage startup Better laid off hundreds of people, CEO Vishal Garg addressed remaining employees in a livestreamed town hall, according to a leaked recording of the meeting shared with Insider.

Speaking from a conference room at Better's One World Trade Center headquarters, Garg blamed himself for the company's financial and managerial troubles. He also said he let down its key backer Masayoshi Son, the CEO of the Japanese investment giant SoftBank whose nickname is Masa.

"We lost $100 million last quarter," Garg said. "That was my mistake. We should have done what we did today three months ago. That's what I said to Masa. That's what I'm saying to you right now. That's what I told my board before."

This week, SoftBank, already Better's largest financial partner, invested another $750 million in the company through bridge financing. In recent years, SoftBank has invested in venture-backed firms that wound up at the center of major blowups, such as the coworking network WeWork, the construction-tech startup Katerra, and the pizza-making-robot firm Zume.

Wednesday's call came just half an hour after Garg laid off a swath US employees. Insider obtained a seven-minute segment of the 20-minute call.

Breh, it's true. There's no dispute. Even my Pakistan /Indian Co workers hate them.

I worked in a body shop in a Indian neighborhood before and they will haggle everything. Even if it's written in black and white.

It's cultural, jews will do the same, I'm talking orthodox jews.

I learned you have to son them, they don't take no for a answer. You HAVE to be slightly disrespectful for them to stop. They don't respect anything but a hard NO.
They will try to run over you and even fake a tantrum and then if you give it to them, they will drop the act and walk away smiling.

Do not play into the back and forth, their game is to get you caught up in the conversation

Why the fukk people keep bringing up Xmas like it means something. It's the end if the quarter. If people gotta go, they gotta go. Oh let's just wait to fire them after Xmas, what difference does it make, they were in the chopping block regardless.

I pray you never manage or become a boss of anyone.
